How does your game fit the theme?
All the houses are running out of books to read. You need to supply the books from your library to the houses before they countdown.

It's a very cozy game. Would have loved some interjections from people in the houses commenting on the books.
Very cosy vibes, could definitely see this having some potential as a cosy incremental game, if you guys wanna continue it in the future! great work c:
Loved the idea, loved the artyle and animations, loved the gameplay! great game!
Pretty cool game. Nice graphics, and I liked the way the books floated around the town. 📘
Very chill game! Has a slight Dorf Romantik vibe. Using chapters as a countdown was a unique take on the theme too!
Glad to hear you liked it. Thanks for playing!
Nice chill game. I nearly got to 1000 books delivered.
That's a great score. Thanks for playing!
A very distinctive and unusual project. I wouldn’t say the jam theme feels like the main foundation of the game; rather, it feels like an additional element added to an already enjoyable management experience. Whether that is good or bad is hard for me to judge, but the game itself definitely has charm.
It feels calm, methodical, and surprisingly engaging—the kind of game you can sit down with, relax, manage things at your own pace, and simply get absorbed in.
Unfortunately, just as I was starting to make real progress, the power went out at my home and all of it was lost. I completely understand that a save system is rarely a priority during a game jam, but I wasn’t ready to start over from the beginning.
Overall, it’s a charming and relaxing little game that I could easily imagine playing just to unwind.
Unfortunate to hear about your power, but a great reminder to try to get some kind of save state working even in game jams.
Thanks for playing, and for your detailed comments!
definitely a peaceful game but oddly exciting! having to manage all the books is challenging and also again feels exciting, having to select which books are best based on cooldowns and additional effects. however, i found myself desperately selecting white books for the majority of the play through, and despite multiple houses being negative at times i didnt feel the threat of a lose state
i do love all the names of the books hehe, i love the art and overall a very great game!
Thanks for the feedback, it will definitely take a bit of work to balance in the future, but that's the joy of game design hey.
Thanks for playing!
Cool Game!! didnt expect to see a game like this. sound effects and music was very good and charming!
Thanks for your kind words, and for playing!
Didn't really understand why my houses could go into the negative numbers. Thought the game would stop when that happens. Good game for such a short development period.
It was going to be a circular icon that filled up but that turned out to be trickier than I expected in Godot haha. Thanks for playing!
Really cozy and relaxing game! I would have liked a way to speed things up a bit later on, but overall it was a lovely experience.
A speed up option would help a lot. Thanks for the feedback and for playing!
Absolutely loved this! Would have liked a speed up option to get to the more intense end of the game. Would definitely play this as a full game with a bit more polish :)

Great call on the speed up option. Thanks for playing!
