Great game! The puzzles are really clever and make you think. It's really fun and easy to understand!

Very very fun, and what a well produced game, great style and satisfying audio. Good puzzles too, awesome job!

Really cool puzzle game! I really like the idea and how you executed it. What I especially liked is that everything was introduced in a way that made it easy to understand. It never felt like too much at once. great job!

We would also love to hear your feedback on our game! :)

I really like the idea and execution. I found that every new gimmick were easy to understand and neatly introduced

Very cool puzzel game inspired from arithmatics! I love the game visual setup, simple yet attractive. Like many other reiviews, I wish there could be a bit more tutorial and explanation at least when the new operators first added since they are the basics. Like even a quick mouse hove tooltip would help. And I'm sure it's all due to the time limit :). I would love to play a bit more of this game once it has more explanations! Nice work btw!

The game takes a while to get the hang of, but it's so worth it. Like adding all of the objects in my brain piece by piece is pretty enjoyable. If school had these, I would be a doctor by now.

This was really fun and really difficult. A little more explanation of the rules could be nice. I love the aesthetic and the feel of it though, well done :)

Developer

thank you!! i agree, a future version would def include more tutorial levels and a better difficulty ramp. glad you enjoyed it though!!

Very nice, a decent collection of puzzles and cool mechanics, I think it'd be a little better if all the rules of the automata execution order were clearly laid out and not something that had to be discovered but thats a personal preference, great game!

Developer

thank you!! thats a fair preference, we wanted some stuff to be discovered naturally (such as using the shadow operations as a barricade) but some stuff should definitely have been explained clearer. glad you enjoyed it though!!

Pretty cool game, although I don't think I entirely understand it. 🤷‍♂️

I had better luck putting the pieces on the board randomly, than trying to figure things out mathematically. 😆

thanks! fair enough tbh, we struggled with each others puzzles too!

Deeply satisfying and memorable. What more can one ask for

thank you!!

Some really cool mechanics in this one. Impressive that you came up with so many puzzles in the time frame, some really stumped me. Slightly more info on how some things work to start would be nice. Really took an idea an explored it thoroughly, great submission. Our game is like baby mode math-related compared to this, hahah.

Could be the next big New York Times digital puzzle.

Developer

thank you so much!! we agree the game couldve used more tutorial levels, glad you enjoyed the puzzles though!

Incredible puzzle game! Reminds me of the Zachtronics games. There's a lot of depth to the mechanics.

Definitely challenging; it took me a good two hours to get to the end. The difficulty curve for me was very spiky: some levels took me under a minute, while I was stuck on others for 20+.

I'm glad you allowed skipping levels through the level selection, because I couldn't figure out "Shrub" or "Butterfly" for the life of me, and I encountered a bug where "Star-Crossed" wouldn't complete even though all remaining blocks were zero (I had a swap block left, though).

I found it challenging to keep track of all the operations, especially in the later levels when many things are happening on each tick. Maybe an animation for each operations would help.

this is actually the most goated comment ever im so glad it reminded you of zachtronics games, im a huge fan of them especially opus magnum! im super glad you enjoyed it!
these are also both two very valid points, a smoother difficulty curve and better animations would for sure be the first thing to work on post-jam! (btw yea having a swap block left would mean you havent beaten the level yet, since everything has to be zeros 😅)

Love the game concept, went through half the levels even though I usually don't like maths but this somehow make it fun!

Developer

thanks!! glad you had fun :D

Not only a cool concept but amazing execution! I loved the challenge of figuring out each puzzles but also the polish in the art and sound design. Not only that but you've managed to make a lot of levels considering the time constraint. Amazing work!

Such a cool puzzle! Simple concept with a lot of depth.  I also like how it works well on mobile.

I feel like there's a huge difficulty spike and it could benefit with some more similar solutions levels just to get warmed up. I found some later levels easier then some of the previous ones since the solution felt more obvious. But maybe that's just me getting better at the game, or just lucky.

I like how some of the levels share a name with your user names, and the aesthetic is really nice. Looks and feels very polished.

Super well done!

Developer

thank you, super glad you enjoyed it!! we agree the difficulty scaling was super tricky to get right with the limited time span, hopefully we can make a full version with more explanations for the concepts we introduce!

Very nice polish on everything and didn't find any bugs, good job
