Cool game, i was really hoping for a "myst" style vibe and i was not disappointed! Didnt manage to get all the books, but maybe i will return :)

Thanks for the 11th rating!

Holy cow that download size. The environment is nice but I ain't reading all that. I was sad that bringing the lantern into the dark hut did not reveal anything. The music not looping is criminal. Good job!

"Not all who seek shall find." ;) Yes, this is a nasty bug

The game looks great and I like the concept that you are not forced to do anything and can just read and relax, however I think that this doesn't really fit the game jam idea, where you should only expect players to spend about 10 minutes on a game. Don't get me wrong, I find this cool, it's just that the sheer size of the download may also discourage other jammers to try your game out. Great polish on the graphics though.

Developer

Agree, it's was a personal goal to learn UE5 features (PCG, instancing etc)

Very confused on how this is a game per se? It seems more like a tour through virtual Hindu scriptures that only have two pages? Aside from walking around and opening 10 books I can't see any gameplay. Looks nice.

Developer

Thanks, I spent too much time on graphics, so some books are WIP. But if you start reading just the first one, it will take a lot of time already.

Well... Interesting concept, but I lost patience after finding only two books.
This game needs more time than I can afford to spend while testing many games for the jam.

Also, You didn't credit the text of the Vedas... ^^

Developer

As usual 2-3 more hours and would've fixed it, but hey :)

Very slow and unoptimised

Developer

Yes, needed more budget :( (tried to mimic AAA companies)
