How does your game fit the theme?
Game revolves around 2 countdowns (wave and intermission), every turret has it's own countdown (attack speed), the main theme is that a student (player) is waiting for the end of the class, playing in their notebook to pass time, and there's a visible countdown to show that.

I love the graphics style of this game, and would love a traditional tower defense (with a path where you place the towers around) or a more PvZ style where you can have multiple lanes of turrets with this style. I had a bit of trouble realizing that there was no indication that you had grabbed a turret at first, and tried pressing E and wondering why I didn't 'pick up' the turret to move it. Didn't realize I had to hold and move and let go to move it around. Otherwise, really good job!
I have to admit, this is the most creative Tower Defense game I've ever played, haha.
I liked the graphics and the SFX.
It's a bit annoying that you can't tell whether you're holding the turret or not, and there's no indicator of any kind.
The style works really well, and the music getting faster gave it a nice feel too. Great work!
Thanks for appreciating my music :)
So adorable! I really like this simple style. It reminds me of when I was a child and would doodle on my notebooks.
Different turrets have different attack speeds and modes. Turrets with higher attack power have slower attack speeds, which makes me want to quickly kill that turtle! So interesting!
There is a minor detail. Due to constantly pressing and dragging the E key to move the turret, the interface for selecting the turret was accidentally clicked. I didn't notice which one I had chosen.but nevermind!
Wow, thank you for your comment! We are glad you liked the artstyle ;)
I went boring turrets with shotguns to work the sides. I was so close, just a minute to go!
Lol, good luck on your next try ;)
Thank you for playing!
Great design, great sfx
Rhythm was a bit slow for my tastes, but I gladly play it once more after the Jam!
Thanks, we're happy you liked it <3
Hello, thank you for your rating and comment on our page, your game is funny at times, it makes you sweat, but I like it, really good job, you're great!
Really good game, especially for a first. I HAVE ALOT of suggestion to improve the game. First and foremost. Add sorts of powerups. It can be no damage for 5 sec, a bomb, i dont know, anything that gives an advantage. You can also add a shop that can give healing to the wall, more shots per seconds for a period of time, more money gain yk anything that adds more variety. Also you could make it so that it costs ALOT of money but you can add extra slots for more turrets. A simple but fun game. Also the resolution is weird. Its not in fullscreen nor i can see everything, that should be a mendatory fix. Overall good game fire!
Thank you for your suggestions and feedback, we plan to improve and develop the game after the jam!!
Great game! Not really tied to countdown in any unique way, but gameplay works well, sounds and art are silly and compliment the story of the game well!
Great foundation of a game to expand on, reminds me of nostalgic games.
Thank you very much for trying out the game and for feedback!!!
Incredible game! The style and story work together beautifully, and the gameplay is quite engaging when you figure it out.
I do wish though that grabbing and placing turrets was easier or clearer, sometimes a turret I had selected wasn't the one I was on, and it goes somewhere else unintended as well. Maybe highlights or some movement/sound to indicate? Same with upgrading turrets. Such QOL improvements can be the limitations of a short jam though!
Otherwise amazing work! I imagine you guys poured a lot of work into this and I really enjoyed it, great job!
Thank you for the feedback. Yeah we should make some clearer animations for placing and grabbing turrets, we will improve the game after the jam!!
Solid and smooth gameplay, good job! <3
Also loved the artworks, always a big fan of doodle games! :D
Congrats! :)
Thank you! :)
The artstyle is really cool. I love how its all bits of paper with simple doodles on them.
I am a sucker for tower defense.
Haha, thanks <3
This game has a really nice artstyle and narrative! Something that could be improved is the user feedback for grabbing the turrets
Thanks for the feedback. We'll fix it later after the jam HAH
Was difficult to notice that the turret was being grabbed, but everything else is great
Glad you enjoyed it! And yes, we could add some animation for it
FUCK! It was fun. I was confused at first since there was no visual indication for picking things up and I oftentimes upgraded the wrong turret, but I still was really invested and lost my shit when I lost (in a good way). I really liked the scribble art style
Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately, we didn't manage to fix the turret upgrade issue in time. Glad you enjoyed the game.
Great artwork and gameplay. Maybe change the window resolution so that it works better for web? Also it felt like there was a lot less to do once the first five turrets had been placed, but I'm sure with some more work that could be changed.
Thanks! By resolution you mean to make it smaller or bigger and add fullscreen? And yes after you get all of your turrets you have less to do, we kinda figure things out as we go so yea, next time we will think more about our game loop.
I like the scribble art. Nice job
Thanks!
Game is super fun. The combination of scribble art and sound effects is really funny and works well. Well done!
Thanks!
That was a fun idea for a game! The artwork with the sound fit really well together with the concept. Nice work!
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
