How does your game fit the theme?
To cross a level, the player uses physics blocks they can move. However, they plug together to form a countdown, a time limit for the player to complete the level.

Very cool marriage of gameplay styles which build off of each other while serving the theme! Polish this up and you could hanve a banger on your hands!
Really creative idea for the theme and very addictive when you figure it out. Only thing lacking is a bit of polish, other than that its very good.
Actually played this for like 30 mins or something like this. I really enjoyed it and I think u could make full game out of it tbh. really had a fun time with the puzzles!! Also It's so fucking creative. Idk how u came up with this idea but this is peak!
An undeniably unique approach to the jam's theme, despite some physics junk causing fails, I enjoyed this game a lot! :D
This has been the best game I have played so far. The main mechanic is tied into both the countdown and the platforming, which I thought was very interesting.
If I were to make any changes, it'd be to increase the weight of the blocks. Currently they are so light that they can be flung across the entire level on accident. There were a few times where I tried to build a bridge, one block gets nudged slightly and then everything falls down.
Now that I think about it, this game kind of reminds me of Poly Bridge.
There is also a noticeable difficulty spike between levels (especially the last level).
Perhaps for a future update you could add some kind of level editor. It'd be fun to play around with choosing what obstacles to avoid and what numbers we get (possibly also some other operators than just +).
Overall, this is a great game, especially for your first jam! Keep making games!
That CANNOT have been your first game jam, that was really good, a few minor glitches in the block placement but other than that, a huge game to be made in just 4 days, the graphics alone could've taken a normal person all of that!
A cool concept, really like the idea of setting up blocks to give yourself time whilst having to platform around them.
One issue was how fickle the physics felt whilst placing the blocks, which was frustrating on some of the later levels.
S+ sound design
This game is certainly very unique. In the first few levels i thought the idea wasn't going to get interesting but some of the later ones were getting pretty fun. My main problem is that the character going over the blocks is usually so easy once you set up the blocks that it feels a bit unnecessary (i didn't finish the game, so maybe it gets harder later). Also the "math" seemed to me like its over complicating and usually just boiled down to alternating numbers and plus signs. Also the movement and physics are kind of clunky, the blocks are very bouncy and the character sometimes gets stuck in the falling state on the edges of blocks (but i assume that is all default unreal engine behavior :) Don't get me wrong, I like the game and love how creative it is, I'm just trying to give useful feedback :3
One of my regrets is that I left most of the settings on their defaults, I didnt touch the settings on the physics blocks and the character controller is almost the default. I spent most of the time just trying to get stuff working, but going back I definitely would've spent more time on it
Very novel concept that follows the game jam theme. I really like the smoothness of the physics of the blocks, and the puzzles get surprisingly difficult when arranging. Took me a second to understand the gameplay, but good fun.
The idea is pretty good, however i had some trouble with the physics of the cubes sometimes, maybe the physics should be locked while trying a run ? The game is still pretty fun, good job for the entry !
Locking the physics is something I thought about but didn't have time for, the blocks falling apart during the run should have been part of the fun but in practice I'm sure that was mostly physics jank. I hoped that locking the countdown timer when a run begins made up for that in some way.
The game is really creative, what a nice concept. Its unfortunate the download size is so large as it might discourage people from trying it, but all I can say is that its worth it!
That's unfortunately an unreal-ism I don't really know how to solve. I also didn't know going into this that 90% of games would be playable in browser, something I hadn't even though about when making this. Definitely things to learn for next time
