Awesome work!! Game feels smooth to run, it's tense, and the mechanics are quite interesting! I'd love to see some more varieties in the switches and puzzles if you work on this more :)

The worm's movement is so smooth and fluid an the wall jumping is precise as well. I wouldve loved an sfx when you groundslam on a button to give it that extra OOMPH, but overall the game is pretty well done. The camera shaking as you near the timer got me more nervous than it should've!

Love the physics and the little worm thing that i'm playing as, the physics were really good too, i like the little bounce that happens when you slam on the buttons. There was one level where you had to wall jump out of the starting area, but I didn't know you could wall jump so I was just bumbling around trying to figure out how to get out for about half a minute or so.

This is very well polished.
The controls are smooth, the visuals and music combined to give a nice "go, go, go!" sort of vibe.
Well done!
:)

Three things that I would suggest changing:
1) the red text on the black background for the game page is hard to read - I would suggest a different colour, or at least bolding it all;
2) I think you're aware of potential volume issues, given the volume warning ,but I found the high pitched SCREEE at the end particularly loud and jarring - I would turn this down;
3) I think it would be good to "massage" the randomness a bit; truly random experiences are often not as fun as partially random ones- e.g. I got a very hard level for level 2, which was a bit rough because I was still learning the controls, and (later on) I got the same level 3 times in a row, which was a little boring.

The movement is so polished wow! Well done :D

This has real good speedrunning potential, good job on that holy, love the movement!

Developer

Thanks for playing! Yeah that was the intention lol :3

I can see why you call this mad dash lol. When the game started shaking I got so nervous I started missing my jumps. Also, can I just say that the movement of the worm(?) is so smooth. I loved slamming into the ground just for the animation alone. Nice work!

Developer

Thanks for playing! Yeah I may have overdone the camshake a little bit, I'll tone it down after the gamejam...
I use worm and slinky thingy interchangeably for it!

May the jame gam rise and take over every game jam it sets its eyes on

Very smooth movement! It reminds me of super meat boy.

Developer

Thanks for playing!

Super fun game! I love this kind of fast paced gameplay and the movement is very fun. I got stuck at one point due to a skill issue, but thats on me. All I can really say is that the sound design was a bit much imo, primarily just the high pitched sound at losing hurt my ears TTTwTTT

Developer

Oh god I really should've fixed the audio before I published 😭

Thanks for playing!

This is simple idea, yet very well executed. Great work!

Developer

Thank you!!

I love games like these, fast, smooth, snappy. The music is great and fit the style of the game greatly, paired with the minimalist art its a nice polished game, Good work!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! (yippee someone likes the music)

This was quite fun to play! The art may be simple, but everything seems very polished and the audio matches the game quite well. The only thing that was a bummer was that I got the same level twice in a row, but otherwise I really liked this game.

Developer

Thank you!! Yeah I'll fix the level issue after the game jam, lots of people mentioned it.

Remined me a bit of Stickfight art-wise. Definitely felt the countdown element. It could get annoying if the same level stacks after itself a few times, but overall very polished. Especially considering you had 4 days left on the jam when you finished this. Well done!

Really interesting movement, I really like the bold colours and level background music

Developer

Thanks for playing!!

Developer

Thanks for playing!!!

Very fun! Great music! (Little bit of a volume warning) otherwise great!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! I really should've tested the audio before publishing...

No issue! (I use my computer at 11 volume anyway so it's just a preference for me Xd)

This was fun! I liked the chaotic flow of the music, although I think the beep at the end should probably be less loud, it was a bit much. Simple but very effective artstyle, and the controls feel pretty good to use, even for someone who's not super good at platformers like me

Thank you for playing!!
