The timeline switching is so cool and adds to the countdown pressure!

I really like the idea of the timeline switching. Awesome work!

The restarting animation is great. The player just crumples to a heap on the ground. I really like the switching of music when you switch timelines, and the movement was very smooth!

Thank you so much! I had fun making the death animation :) Our sound guy had fun messing with the midis in GarageBand to get the music switching right!

Actually very unique idea for a puzzle game, would love to see something like that as a fully fleshed out game with more levels and puzzle elements. Good job!

Developer

Ahw! Thank you for the motivating praise!

Awesome job - after playing so many jam puzzle games that felt a little awkwardly balanced, this was really refreshingly well balanced!

Fantastic game! Such a creative interpretation of the theme and its really fun to play too, not the mention the great artwork and different soundtracks for each timeline! This is the definition of a good puzzle platformer, and it introduces the mechanics in great ways as well as good level design. And I love the time pressure as well from the ticking countdowns for each timer, requiring you to execute your solutions fast and don't mess it up mechanically either. S-tier jam game

We're so glad you enjoyed it! Thank you!

The separate countdowns is a fun twist on a swapping gimmick. Also, the adaptive soundtrack is really nice. The controls are a little finnicky though.

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! It's great to hear how much people are enjoying the soundtracks!

The idea of managing an hourglass and controlling the timeline creates such a unique gameplay experience. It’s truly impressive how you managed to create something so innovative in such a limited amount of time.
P.S. Wall jump is truly the hardest part for me. By the way, I really enjoyed this game as well. Keep up the amazing work!

Developer

The wall jump is a challenge! I personally found the game easier to play using a controller... but my long nails make most keyboard games harder to play!

Thank you for playing for our game!

Really fun concept, well executed! I love the atmosphere and how different the timelines feel. The controls felt kindof stiff to me, and the platforming is pretty unvorgiving. Then again, I'm not much of a platformer player, so maybe that's a me-problem. Anyway, I would have loved to explore more of the puzzles, but couldn't get past the wall jump room.

Thanks for the feedback! There is a level select menu at the start of the game for the situation where our players get stuck but want to see more levels, but it's understandable if it was missed :)

Have a great day, and thank you for playing!

Fun stuff! It feels familiar enough to mechanics I've seen in a few other games, but a solid execution and fantastic vibe. Nice use of music and ambiance to make it clear what time you're in. Getting sticky on the walls is probably the hardest part for me, but I'm also not usually a puzzle platformer person.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the feedback! It's not just you struggling with the wall jump, eheh. It's something we can take forward.

Also, I love your profile picture! Beautiful dog!

Really nice puzzle game! The timeline switching is a creative mechanic. Just a quick heads-up on a small exploit I found: if you spam 'x' (the time switch), the timers actually stop running.  Overall, a really solid entry, great job!

Pro-gamer move. Elite. MVP.

(Thank you for playing our game!!)

A great concept and some really fun levels! I made it to level 11. I especially love the switching between two version of the music with each timeline. The controls could definitely use some fine tuning, especially the wall jump. Overall fit the theme really well and a fun entry!

Developer

Thank you for playing our game, and thanks for the feedback! The wall jump seems to be a common mention, eheh.

It was a long time since a played a game with time switching. It reminded me a lot of that game where you were a blue guys and it was incredibly hard hahah. Great game dude!

Developer

Thank you! We had fun making it together! Wish I knew which game you were talking about, I've played a lot of platformers. Two of the games that inspired this one include Shift (the Flash game) and Bokura :)

Very creative concept with great audio and visuals! Love the time switching mechanic and it has a lot of depth and had me stumped in some levels hehe! Amazing work!!

Developer

Thanks for playing our game! Glad to hear you enjoyed it. I hope it only had you stumped in a good way. 😂
