It's evident to me playing this that your team put much effort into this game. It's impressive you found a team this large, but I know from past experience that coordinating a team can be challenging with a time limit. You guys' talent for designing a great game are on display here.

The art is a cute pixel style, the music is the sort of thinking music that I could listen to for an hour, the game's mechanics are simple to understand.

My only constructive feedback is that the fireworks launching sequence could be better. I suggest rounding out this excellent game-jam entry by adding some animations. If dog fails, crouch down on all fours and whimper as the fireworks go off in the wrong order. If dog succeeds, have him sit and look up at the sky as all the fireworks take off at the same time, then transition to the result screen. Something like that.

(Thanks for rating our game, btw)

Great idea and execution. I enjoyed the game and I liked the level design. I got a little stuck at level 3 but after I figured it out, everything else was easy.

Yeee, As far as game jams go picking a puzzle game can pose a challenge. We still like how it turned out despite mixed availability of our teammates :)

The gameplay is very interesting though our brains are too small for this (╥ ᴗ ╥) The art is really cute and goes so well with the game's aesthetic.

You're game was awesome in subverting my expectations!

Cool art and gameplay ideas, though some of the gameplay could use a bit of polishing and fixing.

fun and creative game. It was hard to visualize how much the ignition line moves per round. I would fix this by making the firework's ignition lines step to the next dot per round. This was inconsistent with turns. I also don't really understand why you needed to get the fireworks to ignite at the specific time, and not just at the same time. Good job making this game!

Developer

Agreed :) these are the kinds of things that you don't catch until playtesting

I was able to figure out the rules of the game after a bit of trial and error, but for a puzzle game I would have liked to see the instructions and rule explained better.

The puzzles themselves are not very hard, I enjoyed it.

The music resetting every time you finished or failed a level is a little annoying though.

It would be much better for the game to stay on the puzzle once you complete a level so you can see thee results of the final puzzle state, which helped with understanding the game, instead of immediately show a results screen.
