How does your game fit the theme?
Two types of countdown, inside the level which makes the game harde and more meta count down where each level forces you to leave one character behind, pushing you to plan who is gonna stay and what abilities and spells needs to go forward.

I'm impressed by the level of polish of the game, everything works well and is fun to play. The "countdown" happening on the characters you can play is a clever and original idea. I could play it for hours.
Nice work. Wishing you the best in the jam!
This was fun! I had some issues with clipping through the environment in the first level but I really liked the multiple character select and the dynamic narrative - very unique.
I have to say, for a noob like me, the game me feel quite powerful!
had a bit of an issue switching characters, I failed to select the water type for the second level
fire one did fine tho
love the concept!
Felt janky but I liked the narrative, gameplay, and vibe. Love the game, great job
This game hits you with great vibes from the get go. The art and sounds are impeccable.
I like the concept of switching wizards at will in a roguelike (needing to manage each character's health and mana). However a few elements did not fit together for me: firstly having to choose to send a wizard away each time feels like I should just pick the one that has low health/mana so they're not a liability, so it isn't that interesting of a choice (perhaps you could auto-pick the one you spent the most time with, to force you to diversify in later levels). Also the fact that you start with 10 is quite overwhelming, and I'm mostly picking wizards at random, and the only reason to change is if I'm out of health/mana.
(The wizards kind of play samey; I wish they had more diversity like melee. Their special abilities are cool but so expensive that they're like ultimates, you can only use them once and then that hero is basically used up, which means mostly they're all just shooting the same fireballs.)
Amazing! Its such a clever idea to have the party members be the countdown. It was really fun to go through all the levels. I admire the menu being a book and the levels being introduced in such a lyrical way. Very beautiful style. If I had to critique anything Id wish for an even more diverse case of mages, maybe totally unqiue elemets. I wasnt always sure which one is gonna be which element but I guess I couldve memorized the squad quickly beforehand.
So amazing!
