Liked the art style that you went for in the game! Also loved the phantom gameplay that you went for! I think this game has the potential to really push the player's creativity with more levels and mind-boggling puzzles. One thing I think could be improved is having a way to view the controls again instead of having to restart the whole level (though maybe that's just my goldfish memory).

So, I played the game, and here’s what I can say. Overall, I liked it. The graphics are really cool. And the music! It helped me relax.

The controls are a little weird, but I liked bouncing off the ghosts and doing those double jumps. I don’t think that’s how it was meant to be played, but I found it fun. I think I solved most of the puzzles that way, haha… When I played through it again, I solved them differently and figured out what the T key was for.

The font is hard to read. Maybe it’s because I’m not the best at reading English.

Overall, the game left a positive impression. I wish you all the best and hope you keep making games.

Alright, here's my thoughts. The visuals and sounds are lovely. The player character is cute, and the chat with capital G God left an impression. I think there's a couple problems with the character abilities though.

The biggest issue I faced was how overpowered the phantom spawning is. With a few seconds of practice I was able to fairly consistently get infinite height by chaining jumps off of phantom heads. The timer in the top left ticks up when I spawn them, so maybe they were supposed to be limited in some way, but that was not my experience (I'm honestly not sure what the timer was for, now that I think about it). It makes it hard to want to try jumping with the (fish?) moving platforms and grappling points when infinite height is always at my fingertips!

The font used for the game over screen was really hard to read, so was the one used for the text boxes but to a lesser extent. I found a point on the map where I fell through the floor infinitely on the far upper right of the god conversation room.

I feel like the phantoms need to be greatly limited if you want other abilities to have a moment to shine. My issues with the platforming didn't detract from my appreciation for the music and sprite work, which made the experience worth it to me.

I wish you luck on your future endeavors!

Thank you very much for playing our game. Regarding the countdown mechanic, our original idea was to add a time limit to the Phantom. For example, the player could only create one Phantom, and it could only exist for a maximum of 60 seconds within a level. However, we indeed overlooked the fact that players could generate Phantoms without any limit. That was our mistake.

As for the font design, we only considered the artistic aspect and didn’t think enough about readability. This was also due to our lack of experience.

Thank you again for your valuable feedback and suggestions. We hope you have a wonderful day!

Physics and collisions feel weird. Holding down Q spams a sound-effect and i couldn't seem to get off the hook-line i was tethered too. Was able to hop from phantom too phantom and reach the ceiling tho! felt some achievement in doing that lol.  And yes, I'm still kicking off the blanket when i sleep, stop nagging mum! Only found one Core before i got stuck.

Overall decent visuals and audio, but the physics  and collisions got to me.
Gonna swing back and try to complete the story later but my batteries are dying, my braincells are depleted and the sun has gone to bed so i shall too.

Thank you for playing! ☺️☺️We know the physics and collision feedback are not as polished as they could be. Most of us on the team were making this type of platformer for the first time, so we still have a lot to learn and improve.😇
