Wow great puzzle game! The graphic and the sound design really tie everything together beautifully!

Gorgeous puzzle game with very creative mechanics. It took me until like level 7 though to stop flailing around and actually understand how each skill works, so a better onboarding wouldve been nice. However the art is genuinely amazing and the sfx are so punchy. well done!

Thanks so much! Onboarding is my main Field to work on in all my games. And its the hardest thing to do, as it is so subjective.

Super unique puzzle game and is decently challenging. The sfx and music all fits the theme and the visuals are really well done too. I like the variety of skills on each level, alongside with the variety on the type of enemies, but without any new mechanics from the environment, the gameplay did start to get repetitive after a while. I didn't know you could move the counter down by pressing space, because of that I got stuck on level 12 for quite some time, adding a simple space button near the skull would've been enough to show that space does something. I like the fact that you can push enemies into another object and kill them, as far as i know this can only happen when using the push and shift skill, and it would be nice if the other skills had some method of killing the enemies too.

Thanks so much for playing and your detailed feedback. All that is addressed in the full version and we currently work on more interesting environmental interaction and biomes to spice it up and make it engaging for a longer time. Pulling an enemy into a trap will also kill them, but there are currently not many occasions for that. We had to add the counter description in the text, as any hint for it didn't make it into the jam version. Did you get to the levels where you can actually choose between all 5 skills? That becomes quiet interesting, but it's too far in for most players.

Sorry, I didn't get to that level, I think I stopped playing after finishing level 25 or 30. I think a level with all 5 skills would've been awesome, I just wished it happened a little bit sooner, I know it's hard to determine how high the difficulty should spike up, and when exactly it should spike up. But with enough play testing and a little patience I'm sure you can get it right.

I liked your audio and the atmosphere it gave.

The puzzle design and artwork/vibes were amazing! Here's a playtest @02:22:20

Thanks so much for recording this! As always, seeing someone play and experience it gives the best feedback. Definitely learned a lot by viewing you play and will take that over into the full version.

What a unique idea. Such an addicting game and I feel like the art was fantastic. Great job for only 4 days!!!

Okay I loved this! It took me a few minutes to understand what was going on but then I was hooked, fun little puzzles that have a tactics game feel, and the art is just gorgeous. Really beautiful stuff!

Developer

Thanks so much for playing and the kind words!! Any suggestions on how to improve the onboarding (without a wall of text) is appreciated.

I'm still trying to understand how to play :(

I love this types of games, and the art is gorgeous, but I don't seem to click with the action I have to take.

Developer

Damn, thats my biggest problem, tutorialisation :/
You basically need to use the skills on the left to move your opponents in a way so their spells (the red sqaures) hit each other when the countdown is at 0 to kill all of them.

(use mouse for all interactions and 1-5 for selecting skills, shift for next skill and Space for moving the counter down by 1. Win by killing all Enemies in each level. You can skip a room in the settings menu if it feels to hard (though all are solvable often with more than one solution)

Very creative! Had me scratching my head at times thinking "this is impossible!" until I got to the "Aha!" moments. I would've liked an in-game description of "the rules" (not a tutorial) but it only took around 2 minutes to understand, anyway. Very cool game! Loved the art!

Developer(+1)

Thanks so much. yea tutorials are my weakness, i tried to focus on making it as selfexplanaotry / soft guided as possible, and as levels are short and quickly replayed i thought it is fine to let people try around.
The art is  really Mrmo Tarius work, i just had bought the licence a long time ago because i loved the look of her tiles. But never got around to doing something with it (it comes in black and white :D) So i sat down and colored the tileset in a rush and finally put it to good use.

A pretty cool game, I liked the visuals, but the lack of even the slightest tutorial is painful — it took quite a lot of time to figure out what was going on, and it would also be nice to have the option to turn the sound down a bit.

Thanks for taking the time to play.
