It's a fun concept to have an interactive, explorable main menu ^^

It's neat you don't reliably know where the ship is, you got to look around a bit (though my very first run it was right in front of me, haha).

Are the meteorites making dynamic craters? I couldn't really tell as I was paying attention to not getting hit by one, (got a couple close calls!) and finding the spaceship. If so, that's really cool to have figured out for a first project and at a such a short time :3

Yes the craters are made by the meteorites.  I used the Unity Runtime Terrain Scipt by Johann Hotzel.

Managed to find my ship on the second attempt. I like the idea of using a depleting oxygen tank as a countdown but I was missing some additional depth to the mechanic beyond just a timer. Maybe it wouldve been fun if you could restore some of it by collecting rare oxygen rich meteorites for example? Some more challenge wouldve been nice as well. Still good job on making it to the finish line as your first 3d game!

The crater mechanic is super cool!

I like the concept, but the map is big enough that it's basically a game of luck on whether you can find the ship or not. On my first attempt the ship was right in front of me but on my second is wasn't visible anywhere I could get to in time. I do like the art direction quite a bit, though!

This game has a cool aesthetic and I was happy when I found the ship on my second attempt :)
