Super fun, reminds me of SUPERHOT. I really enjoy the gameplay loop. Well done!

SUPERHOT, but if it was top-down! Very fun, and when the enemies stack up also very challenging

Neat game, I like how the tiles expand as it goes on. Initially I had a similar movement idea for our game but we changed it. Feel free to check it out!

Don't get yourself stuck in a corner with no way out, that's my advice.

I enjoyed it!

I generally enjoy games with a faster pace more, though this is still pretty good.

Developer

Perhaps we will release the Director’s Cut, which can include the 0.5s forced tick timer that we started the prototype with :)

very cool concept and art style. had a lot of fun playing!

I had a lot of fun, i love the execution in spite of the few quirks and bugs, but i think i love a bit too much playing at a fast pace and that made me loss a few games. Congrats for your entry!

This game was great! The only thing I would say is that it's a little too easy. Masybe make a timer foe each step so the play cant think for too long.

Submitted(+2)

It was nice. It would be also cool if enemies could hit each other

Really Fun game.
Nice graphics,  Quite creative and its very consistent all aroud.
I liked !

Fun! Kind of reminded me of a slower paced Crypt of the Necrodancer, but I really enjoyed having the time to plan and predict the moves!

Fun game that made me think a good bit on my next moves at times

Fun and simple, albeit a little bit too easy, but the game does scale harder. I love shanking.

Fun game. Really cool animations and music. Good entry :)

Nice game! I like the art style and could totally imagine this growing bigger and becoming a puzzle game. Anyway, I enjoyed it really much :)

Submitted(+3)

I got really sucked into this! It's a really fun game loop

Submitted(+3)

It felt a bit easy, like i could attack in all three directions in a turn.
To add difficult an attack should count as a turn.
Cool concept,  definitely not an easy thing to achieve in a game jam, but you did it well.

Developer(+1)

Attacks count as turns, though turning does not. Thanks for playing :)

really dig the style, but I wish there was a little more to the gameplay-- anticipating attacks and being able to avoid them is fun, but maybe the obstacles should appear a little more deliberately or there should be enemies with aoe attacks or ranged attacks (that don't hit in a line, but instead a point or area on the grid far from the enemy) that force the player to rethink their approach and think more on their toes. still a very solid start for a game!

Nice game! The intentional movement is cool!

Overall art style is great! Game idea is interesting, but I was hoping for some new abilities, or maybe different enemies? Felt very relaxing to play and satisfying when you get a combo going

Developer

We so wished we had the time for some of that, but we didn’t wanna risk complicating things or making things too easy. Maybe another time :)
