i love the idea of the game and the CRT style UI, it pairs really well and gets the idea across as soon as you boot the game up! i did run into a screen resolution issue where no matter what i did (fullscreen, windowed, adjusting the borders when windowed) the screen would always be cut off, so i wasn't able to view the right and bottom of the screen and didn't really know what was going on. looking at the screenshots though, i can tell that the writing in the game is amazing and that it would be a really fun experience to play it without the bug. pretty cool idea and well done :)

I'll look into the screen clipping issue you ran into, thanks for giving the game a chance!

no worries, i think it had to do with my screen resolution being 1920x1200 and not 1920x1080

The black background, Bold text with Vivid Green, and smooth animations were already enough to pull me in. “Simple is best” really fits this game.

When downloading the application, the security system indicated that this application is a virus.

Sorry about that. Windows Defender alerts it as an unknown program, but if you virus scan the files they come back clean.

I'll see what I can do on my end to make sure Windows Defender verifies my game.

Thanks!

One thing that you can do is submit them to microsofts virus scanning program/website (can't remember the name, it's still a pain to do.) It takes a few days at the fastest still, but it's better than nothing. The whole virus scanning/proving you're not bad is a real pain. There's no surefire way to do it, because if there were it could be taken advantage of. If you go through the trouble of signing executables (I don't think it's worth it for me) it can help, but it may still take months for your executable to be designated "safe". And even if you use the same certs, the process is per executable, so every update restarts your safety progress. It's really not a fun rabbit hole. I don't know of any good tutorials or guides online. It's just a digging through rough documentation online & finding a comment somewhere explaining why those docs are out of date/bad advice. It's probably easiest to submit your stuff to virustotal/microsofts site & cross your fingers. Rating period will probably end by then too.

Oh, on the topic of signing certs, if no one runs it it won't really matter. You may need as many as several hundred or thousand users to try running it before it just works. It's actual insanity.
