How does your game fit the theme?
You have to create your character before the count down finishes. In the battle, your spells count down and trigger effects. The art has also been made to reflect the count-down theme aesthetically.

Extremely cool idea! Trying to find the best character out of the cards you're dealt is very addicting. In my best run I managed to get to level 13 before getting one-shot :p I only wish there was a pause between the transitions so I could properly understand what happened. The music is also very good, props to the composer!

i had fun trying to mix and match cards to find the best combi and i got to lvl 8. i feel the countdown is too fast initially since i have read the cards to understand what it does. when i have no energy, i still have to wait for the countdown timer or maybe i am missing a mechanic here. great job nonetheless!

I think the systems here are very compelling, but as many have mentioned before me, the timer is way too short. I could see something like 1-2 minutes being enough for someone just starting to figure things out, and for someone experienced to strategize. I've long had a soft spots for games and simulations where you make something, then sit back and watch stuff happen, and this scratches that same itch for me.

It took me a couple turns to get into it, but then I was really hooked! The countdown is a bit short for my taste, but all in all I really enjoyed playing it!

I think you a lot of potential that just needs a liiiitle more push to be really good.

The game needs a little more sfx and asks you to parse a lot of information in very little time, kinda wish it was possible to go faster on autobattles. and the balance isn't the best

You got a good concept and just need a lil' more polish, keep it up!

Interesting concept but found it a little tough to get into first. A lot of information to absorb in a short amount of time. After a couple rounds of random builds I started to get a feel for it. Maybe start with few options just to help build knowledge? Had fun though, thanks!

Really enjoyed the music and the hand-drawn art, the game is also super in-depth. However, the timer feels a bit too fast for the amount of text and mechanics on the cards. I'm sure players will get used to it eventually, but it definitely means a lot of trial and error at first.

Maybe offering fewer upgrades at the start could help. I think having a shop between fights would benefit the game loop, alongside introducing more cards further down the line so we aren't overwhelmed right away.

Nonetheless, good job to everyone on your team.

I think this game needs a little more work, but as is it was still very enjoyable. I wish there were a few more races and item variations, and shops in between some fights. I really want a full version of this game.

This caught my attention cause of the custom art, and once I saw it was 3 devs and an artist like our team, had to try it. Sucker for drafters so although there was a good chunk of text to read with a tight clock, once I got a handle on it, I could the synergy ideas.
