How does your game fit the theme?
Our project fits theme in 2 ways. As a player's lives count down from 9 to 1 by fighting enemies, they progress to the final boss, Count Rat-ula, who they must take down.

Sorry, the game looks great and I wanted to check it out, but the .exe was asking for admin privileges and I don't feel comfortable giving random internet .exe's that privilege :'(
all good ! it's our first jam so we didn't know how important WebGL was. if you're still down to play I can let you know when we upload the WebGL version on friday !!

Took me a little bit to get used to, I didn't realize how much range my swipes had. Very nice game overall! I love the art that was done for the game, I love how lenient you were with allowing the player to swipe at the projectiles too, nice attention to detail. I also think it's a neat idea to have the grim reaper by your side as a shop and a way to show the player how exactly Lucy recovers from death, it's very fitting narrative wise. But yeah, this is all awesome, nicely done!
