Really impressive work for a first game in 10 days! Puzzles and mechanics works really well, the ability to go back in time is exactly what we needed, audio and art is also really nice. Really enjoyed it! Sad that there is no proper ending haha. Congrats this is a really nice game project for a jam.
Ooooh, a Sokoban. With teleporters. Rocket Hideout being Rocket Hideout (especially with the BGM lol). Simple and it always works!
I found a really minor bug (it doesn't break the exprience) : there is a level I managed to pass without connecting all the batteries, the level prior to the open room!
Also, I don't know it that's intended or not, but you can push 2 items at once
that is a known bug, but i don't have a good solution for it
it's because the detectors' enter and exit signals are not emitted in the same chronological way, so there's a chance that enter is done before exit
Super charming! I got the hang of the system pretty quickly and had fun figuring things out. The rewind function was also a nice addition, though if this were to be expanded upon, I think having an option to fully reset the level on top of this would be nice if you feel like you're in too deep (unless this was an option and I missed it!)
resetting the level was indeed was an option in the pause menu lol
which is brought up with the escape key, and it exits full screen mode instead of bringing up the pause menu
Cool, don't pay me any more mind then! I had a great time playing ^^
Ah yes the classic ice block pushing puzzle formula. Cute game for sure and the puzzles were fairly straight forward so it was the perfect 'think but dont stress' level of puzzles that I enjoy. Only one gave me trouble and needed restarting, but once I found where the Zap was supposed to go, it fell into place.
My only suggestion would be to expand it. more pushable blocks and mechanics. maybe an ending as to what happens when the call connects. Well done!
Really good for a first game, the mechanics are well made! Good luck on the next one!
Get Sokoban'd Nigel!
Nicely done. That's a nice little game and a fun puzzle.
That's nice:3 Fun, intuitive, cool mechanics. I like that you can revert your actions, really rewards experimenting. Music and audio is fire.
yooo the music is really gooodddd!, its fireeee auuhhh
the musician should upload it somewhere so i can tune in ;3c
the gameplay mechanic is also fun!
the mos is cutee!
this is a really great first jam!
I plan on uploading the music to YouTube eventually :3 I go by Jayden Raske Productions on that site
Pretty cute! I do wish there was a proper end after all that. Even just some text of “yay I got through. Oh cool we’re all going out for cake now” - something like that but better written. :p
The best thing is that you added a rewind function. That made the puzzles so much more approachable and I appreciate that space to play around and make mistakes.
Also I noticed Noogle is credited as a team member here but is missing from the actual itch page?
oh i just forgot to include myself i guess, thanks for bringing that up lamo
Pretty darned good for your first game jam! Keep at it!
The music in the game goes so hard, it was super enjoyable to listen to while I was questioning if im stupid for pushing a lightning bolt into the wall for the 5th time XD Really fun game.
