only room for one possum in this jam >:[
my favorite itch page decorations so far for sure, it all felt really polished, the art is great and the time limit catches up to you faster than you'll think, i got to 32 points before dying
An interesting little game with rich gameplay. The little paws are so adorable. It seems that I started to feel a bit challenged and confused around the fourth or fifth level.
great fun! at the basketball part, maybe you should allow the shot after item has left the starting point
We did consider it but the code for it would have made a mess of things.
gotta love the art , really enjoyed the game , keep up
love the artwork and the 'grabbing' selection is so cute. love it
Love the art style!
Theres a lot of variety which I like and the minigames are challenging enough. I was struggling a bit with the fling shot ones :)
A very funny game. Everything from the visuals to the minigames is very interesting, I really enjoyed it.
Funny game, really enjoyed it, the voice lines were a great little touch for everything !! I will say I think the clicking and dragging felt really off, mainly starting to drag the thing was weirdly hard sometimes. That said i would give this opossum my bank account details they seem trustworthy
Waaait a minute, I remember you from 2024! Great to see you again! Thanks for playing my game.
Unfortunately it seems depending on your set up the click and drag can be a bit off the best experience is had on mouse rather than track pad, and on I think certain monitors. The issue comes from the fact that when you have the paw, you aren't actually clicking and dragging with the paw, but rather the cursor which has been set to invisible, the paw visual simply follows; this was chosen originally to make it so that in minigames such as the spelling one the tiles had an easier time being arranged up and down rather than just sticking to the paw and having to navigate that. Given not everyone has been having that issue, I am considering adding an option in the menu that's just a tickbox says "never hide my cursor" and it should in theory make things easier for players with this issue.
Oh!! I didn't realize you also made little dipper's big adventure that's awesome!!
I was playing on a mouse and not trackpad, tho I attempted to fullscreen the game and it didn't really work so that may have been part of the issue. Not a huge deal though, still a really great time!!
Saw this game in the jam's discord and immediately got hooked by the cute guy on the thumbnail! Had such a fun gameplay experience which only ended by my continuous skill issue in catching the damn bug. 10/10 would rcm. I hope Roadkill get rich so we get more fun games like this!
INCREDIBLE WORK! I'm so glad Roadkill was able to get that federal pardon for the duration of the game jam, although it definitely convinced me that guilty verdict wasn't a fluke (as fun as it was to spray those catboys for him)
God I had such an amazing time playing this, such a good Warioware-like. Roadkill is so so cute and all of the art and music feels so right. Mechanically so satisfying, great set of minigames for the amount of time, and I was happy to see the low amount of repetition. Managed to get 46 points! Initially I thought the game felt slow, but the curve over time actually felt great, and I definitely want more of this game or something like it <3
I love the art, opossums are great artists I am convinced now, heading to my nearest dumpster right after this
All opossums want are those funny little numbers on the back of your card.
Holy art and graphics. The visuals are so impressive for a 4 day jam. I loved the custom cursor and the little narration both at the beginning and during the game. Great game!
Thank you!! Means a lot to hear such love
i like pposums😍
Wow! Likely one of the best games I've played so far in the jam.
There is just so much expression and style in every aspect of the game, and I think the choice of doing a wario-ware style minigame collection fits very well with the style! Most of them I also found pretty engaging, too (I only didn't understand the one with the dog which is why I lost at 20p).
Most importantly:
Rats +1
Catboys +1
Ah. I see. it was another click and drag one similar to the basketball one. That one was a problem child in production from the get go, make it too easy and it becomes poinless compared to the basketball try and make it harder, basketball minigame was already one of the tougher ones. It didnt help that it went through several identity crisis, first it was just a ring toss at a circus, then it was tossing a ring on pinoccio's nose then it was tossing a ring on long dipper and then finally, tossing a collar onto dipper at a dog contest. The collar asset was also a programmer texture as we ran out of steam when putting resources into that, the choice was either have a sauceless transition screen or have one sauceless minigame and transition screen was a more frequent occurance. The sacrifice was made.
very fun and polished game! kinda similar to our submission. i liked it :3
Can't wait to try yours and review it!
Really loved this game! Good narrative good incorporation of the theme fun to play cute art etc. Great job!
LOVED this game!!! Had so much fun with the mini games, found myself getting stressed - in a fun way - trying to solve the games getting faster and faster, loved the intro and laughed my heart out with the singing in the credits' section and the very last words of Mr. Opossum!! The aesthetic as well as the sounds, voices, music choice, all brilliant! Thank you Pip!!!!
Hello??? Only good vibes here! haha must play jam game
