I really like how the number 666 is implemented here, and how shooting clones a bullet instead of a raycast. Wish more games did that.

The idea of being able to teleport through some invisible portals similar to how the demons do is quite cool as well, however, I ran into an issue where I managed to shoot a demon a couple of times, it then disappeared after crossing a portal... And I was stuck waiting there for another demon to spawn, but it never did. May have been a bug I triggered without knowing, or maybe I'm just impatient and the reward comes after the timer ends, but still quite an annoying thing to run into.

But anyway, I enjoyed this game but found the "aim then shoot" mechanic to be quite pointless, maybe aiming could increase precision at the cost of a slower fire rate or make your bullets faster... Or just be generic and zoom in to let the player see where they're aiming better.

Nice concept. I really struggled with the controls and had quite some lag when shooting

Nice game, loved the revolver, but I think reloading faster and adding some moving mechanics (like dash etc.) would make the game better.

Congrats on finishing a game for the jam! Unfortunately I ran into a problem where the first person controller kept rotating to the right on its own. The same thing happened on another Godot FPS game in this jam as well, so it might be on my end, but I can't figure out why it might be happening. I played through it and I wasn't quite able to figure out the teleporting pattern, so I was having a hard time getting close enough to take a shot.

Interesting idea, and really cool that you made the visual assets by yourself during the jam!

Fun little game, as others mentioned I'm also a fan of the UI and the reloading + I think the projectile bullets were adding some nice extra depth to the gameplay :D I also like the title, creative stuff, good job!

I love the revolver and the way you reload and also the ui, but I couldn't shot at the demon. I still beat the game some how but the fact that when you shoot it's not a raycast but an actual bullet, threw my aim out the window but other then that it's fun

Thank you for playing! This was my first attempt at a shooter so I struggled to get that feeling right! Thank you for the feedback!

Love the concept and the execution is not too bad. I just wished the hitboxes were a bit bigger. Sometimes shots that felt like they would hit, just don't. Interesting decision to make the revolver shoot projectiles, instead of using hitscans.

Thank you for playing! I will definitely look into using hitscans and ray casts in the future. Thanks for the feedback!

I wasn't saying it was a bad decision to use projectiles instead of hitscans. Both can lead to fun gameplay if the game is designed propely around them.

it would be nice if we could change our sensitivity, but otherwise its quite cool and works well with the theme!

Developer

Thank you for playing! I didn't even think about that but it makes a ton of sense and should be fairly simple to implement. Thank you for the feedback!

Pretty cool, Loved the low poly assets and the whole 666 concept!

Thank you very much! And thank you for playing!

Cool demon designs! Love the 666 concept. You also get a bit of a countdown element with counting down the demons you have left to slay. Atmosphere works really well :) I did have a bit of trouble aiming without there being a more distinct target marker, but I suppose that makes it more realistic. Nice job!

Developer

Thank you very much! I'm glad you enjoyed it! The actual shooting definitely still needs some polish and I might switch it to Raycasts to make it feel better. Thank you for the feedback!
