How does your game fit the theme?
The game revolves around a literal countdown. Every knock on the door decreases the remaining count from 5 to 1, while the tension continuously rises. As the countdown progresses, new events occur, the atmosphere becomes more unsettling, and the player is forced closer to the inevitable final knock.

Paul is a bum bro
In all seriousness, super charming, loved the artwork, good job on taking the time to record dialogue, super unique game jam entry, keep games! Love yous!
Yeah bro, Paul just wanted to join the party😭 tysm for the feedback❤️
Interesting game. I was able to get two of the endings (including the one labeled "true ending"), although reading the comments, apparently, there are three. The vibe of the graphics reminded me very much of Lethal Company, although I'm sure there were games before that with that kind of graphics.
My main nitpick is that the "E" indicators showing up didn't always properly align with when I could actually interact. I think the hitbox for the E and the hitbox for interaction are slightly different, and some objects can only be interacted with at certain times, while the "E" always shows up.
Thank you for your feedback! Yeah, the interaction system is kinda working nor really good, but in the next game I'm working at rn, I will fix it👍
I really liked the style! Something about low resolution in horror games always just makes it even creepier. The voice acting for the main character was very unnerving (in a good way)!
My only feedback would be that the interaction with some doors and objects was a little clunky at times and perhaps a slightly different ambience or soundscape would have elevated the work, but apart from that I had a wonderful experience!
Tysm for your feedback! Will definitely work on interaction system and sound design in the next game I'm working at rn
I liked the concept of game. Its ps2 like graphics really achieved what many horror games miss, the scariness. But sometimes the game is a bit unresponsive when you press E to interact though. But still very good for a game jam!
Scary!
Art and atmosphere are fantastic! my only thing is that it's kind of quiet. Great game!!
Tysm for your feedback! Definitely will work on sound design next time🐋❤️
The games has some good narrative ideas but i feel like the audio is a bit lacking, especially for a horror game. I would also have liked a volume option because the sounds were very low and i couldn't tune it up.
Anyways, good job on the entry !
Tysm for your feedback! Yeah, I didn't had time to properly work on a sound design and settings. Next time I will definitely fix these problems
i think he's nice and just wants to cuddle in bed :( great atmosphere! i really love the art in particular
Maybe he is😁 You can learn his story by playing the game till the true end(there are 3 endings)
A great game next time just make a web build :3
Definitely will, tysm =)
The whole place was really dark. I was tempted to turn the graphics onto low to see where i was going but endured. Took me a bit to find each thing. The atmosphere was really nice and i like how the game related to the theme. love me a psych horror
Tysm for your feedback! Yeah, I wanted to add an exposure settings, I just didn't had time for this :(
