5 stars on all counts. Loved the experience, however short it may be. You nailed the narrative, I would like to recommend some stuff gameplay wise though:

1. The game is cheesable rn. The shattered pieces only snap to the correct place. It would be better for the gameplay if they snapped to all cells, so it doesn't give it away.

2. There is no time limit, which is a good thing for a such a calming and slow paced game. But it does make the gameplay feel too easy. What I would've done is probably that the shattered pieces start to get muddy and withery as time passes. So it doesn't give you a time limit but still subconciously urges you to be faster or you "lose" the memory in some sense, as it makes it harder to figure out. Some kind of forfeit mechanic would be required for this though, otherwise it would be kind of a softlocked.

3. The immersion is pretty good, but even one or two sound effects would skyrocket it even more. For example a camera flash sound when the image appears, breaking glass sound when the memory is shattered and some tune when the image is finally reconstructed, or when snapping. Any of these will give a lot of immersion into the world.

Please keep in mind that this is just constructive criticism. I really did love the game on all aspects. You are a very talented artist, in fact I'd love to work with you on a future project if you're down for it.

I wish you the best with your journey. Keep making gems, I'll be following along on your itch profile
