I absolutely love this game! It was so satisfying to finally get it all right and discover the murderer. The solutions were pretty creative too and very hard to figure out at times! The style, music and general vibe also fit together perfectly. I didn't manage to get through all the levels yet, but i am sure i will be back!
This is such a cool game! Great take on the theme. It's unique with a lot of content and feels complete. I can't believe you did it in such a short time! Congrats! Some of the puzzles are hard for me, and I agree hints would be nice. But it's still the jam game that I've spent the most time on. Like hours. I keeping coming back to it, and when I finally figure out a puzzle I feel smart. I'll probably keep playing until I finish it. The music and the art is great. The birds are so cute. Impressive! My favorite so far.
That's a really cool game. The puzzles are pretty good.
Really great puzzle game. As someone who plays a lot of puzzle games I am always pleasantly surprised when a puzzle challenges me.
I noticed you used Godot. Godot makes exporting to web super simple and I feel like in game jams people are less likely to play games they have to download. If you do export to web, make sure you to rename your html file to index.html and then zip the whole game file or else itch can't run it.
Thank you! With the web export, yeah I've never tried that in Godot so it totally didn't occur to me. Feels obvious in retrospect! Appreciate the advice :)
The Good: I must admit, of the games I’ve played so far, this one is one I’d possibly come back to, as it’s well executed, and I do love me a good mystery
The Meh: Some of these puzzles can be downright tricky to figure out, so I have yet to 100% it, but I do like how there’s a skip option in the menu.
Post-Jam Suggestions: Maybe having a hint system in case you really get stumped, but it isn’t required.
Thank you so much! Yeah I think the game turned out a bit harder than I expected, so you're totally right that a hint system would go a long way.
This is a really fun and challenging game, one of the best I've played so far from the jam! Each level managed to stump me, and I still haven't managed to beat them all. I could see myself coming back to this game in the future.
This is probably one of my favorite games I've played in the Jam yet! Great art design, music, and sound effects, a super creative interpretation of the prompt, and really tightly designed puzzles. I think the only thing stopping me from giving this fives across the board is that I'm hard stuck on level 12 right now so I don't know how the narrative ends (no spoilers!)
Update: finished it! The art and carpet mechanics were great additions!
Well done! Thank you so much for the feedback :)
Reminds of Murdle game book series about murders. Could be a blast on the mobile! Great stuff!
Okay, this was awesome! I love the art!
