WOW, this game was good! The aesthetics, the mechanics, and the design just gelled together so perfectly. I love how the clock ticks down faster with each successful parry; it had the dual benefit of allowing skilled players to dish out damage faster while also making it harder to maintain that streak. The bosses were all so well designed and had some nice personality to boot! My only minor quibble is that I experienced some slowdown, but honestly, it was worth it for the thrilling bullet-hell gameplay. This is easily one of my favorite games I've played this jam.
