Wow, your last puzzle was kinda hard. I solved it with 30 secs on the clock. Nice game.

Thanks.

I liked the beginning of the narration but I feel there was not much of instructions of how to play the game; more description would have been nice. I was told to go through the door but couldn't, then I was reminded this is an escape game. I found the safe, window, and vent, but interacting with them did nothing.

Some bugs/issues: I got stuck in the sink. Controls feel rather clunky and I do not really like playing in a small window; the game UI needs to be scaled to properly fit the screen. If I tabbed away for any reason, moving the camera would no longer work. There should definitely be a way to restart the game if you get stuck. I did not understand how the theme and title matched. Why am I the height of a child?

UPDATE: Gave it a second try and figured out that the dialogue was freezing movement and the prompt (E) to continue went away before I pressed it, so I was stuck there and didn't know what to do. After figuring that out I was able to get past the first room, and with some patience got the second (if the only morse code used was digits, why not limit the ref sheet to just digits?). The final code was doable now that I was in escape game mode though I couldn't find all the objects, so I just started with 6 and kept increasing the number assuming I missed something, and eventually got it right. Cool concept overall but definitely has some kinks to smooth out in terms of helping the player.

Thanks for the criticism.  It's mostly our inexperience to blame for the low quality and inconvenience.

Developer

Hello! Thanks for trying out our game and taking your time to give us a detailed opinion on it! The clunkiness of the game is mostly due to the fact that this was our first time making such a project. We didn't have the experience to polish out the game within the time-limit so we tried our best to complete it. We're hopeful that our next project will be better!

I don't know if I'm an idiot but I got stuck in the second room, my guess is it's some form of morse code based on the items and the seats but I couldn't make it make sense, there are 6 rows of 6 seats, each morse code number requires 5 data points (short or long), and the code is only 4 digits, I wish I could have gone further but I ran out of time :(
I would have liked some sounds that would really have elevated the experience but for a first game this is great.
Neat idea though, an escape game for that theme fits perfectly and the game was more than playable !

Edit: I am an idiot, figured it out, made it to the end; very cool game keep it up !

Spoiler!!! don't read the next lines if you want to play the game.

the morse code on the walls were numbers to unlock the second door. the 3rd puzzle was even harder than the second one. :

Figured it out and updated my comment ! Thanks for the help though :)

Thanks. Sfx is probably more important than I initially thought, but glad you still liked the game.

Thanks for checking out our game! The SFX really is a greater problem than we thought it seems like, which is a shame but we're very glad that you enjoyed the game!
