I'm having a bit of trouble with the game mechanics. But I really like the tabletop approach. For a game jam, this is actually pretty good—maybe you'll want to keep developing it afterward and add an interactive tutorial for dummies like me.

We know that the proper tutorial levels are needed before throwing everything, so no worries, we know it's too much at once. We haven't decided yet how much of development we can invest, but we definitely want to make it a bit more clean and fix some bugs we saw. Thanks for playing!

Love the concept of a tactical RPG where you can steal powers :) the number of powers on each cop was a bit overwhelming at first but it was quite fun, great work !

Thanks a lot

It's an interesting game but I had a bit of trouble understanding how it works and I think there is just too much text and too many things. The procedural generation is good tho!

Developer

Thank you, we knew it was a bit overwhelming, but couldn't do anything about it, because lack of time

Nice game, and cool take on the concept! A bit complex to get into, but well executed!

There's a lot to take in for a jam game, but it's a really solid and interesting foundation, congrats :)

great isometric turn based game you made here overall. the combat and abilities were fun to figure out and took me a few tries to learn but the procedural little maps and stages were fun and unique. great polish for a 4 day jam with lots of replayability to it. good job! check mine out as well if you get a chance!

Amazing that you're able to make this much content over the span of the jam! A little too daunting to look at this much text just opening up the game. Would be nice if you could create a light intro level to walk players through the basics and add mechanics gradually.

Developer

Yeah, we had a lot of ideas how to make it less texty and more readable, but too little time. Thanks for playing

too much text
