Love the style, both the audio and visuals, and the concept is good. The level where you time the snails is really fun, shame the last level wasn't winnable but I had fun.
My only issue is that, while it fits the theme, the countdown after retrying a level was pretty annoying (especially if I just fell off a platform like an idiot).
Good job!
This is really adorable, I love the artsyle and overall vibe. The music was great and really suited the game, and I appreciate how the track was different to match the speed or intensity of different levels. The levels are all very well put together and make great use of the different mechanics, all of which I found to be very intuitive to experiment with.
It might sound counterintuitive but I really appreciate how none of the interactions were particularly physics-based and relied primarily on timing to succeed. I've played games with similar mechanics (especially the explosion knockback) that felt a lot worse because they gave too much player control which made it easier to miss jumps even if the puzzle was solved correctly.
Thank you for creating such a delightful entry
I beat the game! Glitched through the wall by letting the snail on top blast me through the wall.
Really awesome game, did you do the music yourself? Absolute bangers. Art is really nice and I liked the gameplay.
Two small issues:
this is a revolutionary breakthrough for the countipillar
speedrun communityAww, this is great, pretty and super clever! I liked the snail mechanic the most, it felt super rewarding making it perfectly in time.
This with a little more polish is a steam worthy game, absolutely amazing artstyle, great tunes (not to mention the delight of discovering it's a rhythm platformer!!!), and I loved the puzzles. I think the game shined the most with the snailbomb puzzles compared to the critters but they were all delightful, on a bit of criticism the collection sound is just a bit too loud, especially when I wanna hear the jams. Great work y'all, hope to see this one fleshed out even more :D
i loved it !! The art and animations are so cute ! Loved the puzzles, i had a really good time trying to figure out how the timer will affect my progression in the level ! (especially the level where the bomb creates a chain reaction) Only thing I felt frustrating was the jump, otherwise, it was truly a great time !!
Really cute game with some clever level design !! The art and music are very nice too, i was sad to not be able to finish the last level :(
Also it's quite funny that both our games have caterpillar inspired name since we also have a mecanic where you set a delay on bombs before they explode !
Really good work congrats !

That was neat! I liked having to mentally go through the level and prepping the bombs and dragonflies to then just get it done in one attempt. Sometimes.
At first I found it weird that the countdown timer at the start didn't start immediately, but then I noticed that everything was synced to the beat of the music, which is really cool.
I made it to the last level and I enjoyed playing through your game. Good stuff! :D
MY FAVORITE GAME FROM THE JAM SO FAR... THE MUSIC SYNC ITS INSANE, THE ART ITS CUTE AS HECK, THE LEVEL DESING SO CREATIVE AND SMART. PEAK. PEAK. AND MEGA PEAK.
I enjoyed it!
