Love this! Slightly existential... but still fun :D
I reached my favorite number, 73. The idea is cool I had to try a few times to understand it and it can get hard (just like real life) Good job!
I loved the idea, it has many possibilities as a full game
Really cool concept. I'm curious on what triggers certain events, for example the start investing one. In the run I made less money I got it and on the one I worked way more I didn't. Besides that really good job, the UI is really polished.
Thanks! The investing milestone is a bit broken, it activates when you're over 45 and spend on work. On the post jam I made it so that it activates when you get the rich emoji bar over halfway green. You actually start making money at that point
Great Idea! Well done!
Great Idea! Well done!
Wow we need to sleep a lot. Does exercising and care actually make you live longer?
Great idea and execution, very thought provoking. I think it's even more impactful than the youtube video because you can actually decide what to do with your time
In my first run I had a balanced life and died happily age 99 so naturally I decided to see what would happen when you don't watch our for the values at the bottom. This way it's less thought provoking and more comedic... so turns out if all you do is play games you can live your dream until 28
Thanks, glad you liked it!
Yes, exercise helps with keeping you happy, declining less, it can really help at the end. And care keeps up your health (getting less effective the older your get). It seems you did pretty well already reaching 99, let's hope you do as well as that in your first run of real life:)
Putting everything in play definitely doesn't give you many years, hope you the rockstar milestone for that though.
Lol thanks, you too!
I was just joking about how you can't possibly live that long without eating or sleeping irl, but integrating that into the gameplay might be too punishing?
Love the game! Easy to play and it makes you think a little
Simple idea that made an intence and fun game! Managed to get to 98, I loved how I needed to put effort to balancing all stats. Well done! :)
This is such a cool idea and feels really polished, well done! The countdown and bars really give that anxious feeling of real life haha.
It triggers an existential crisis. It’s just like a Kurzgesagt video. The animations are beautiful. The interface is very clean. (I just noticed the video below while writing this, lol.) It would have been nice if an animation played when the balloons disappeared too.
That was fun! And als odepressing to see the tiredness level when working! Great with milestones and great music!
Nice job ! This is fun
Reminds me of bitlife
Loved the milestones !
Ended up going 75 while always being very tired and poor all the way 🤣 hoping to be better in real life;;;;
Awesome concept!
I think I managed to get away without ever exercising, ha ha. Really love how the options changed throughout your life and you had to find the right balance. The simplicity of the game was so perfect!
Makes you think! The cymbal hit when selecting a thing was really satisfying. I liked how different elements were more or less important throughout the lifetime. It was all I could do to sleep and love at the end.
Our dude needed to start investing sooner!
Really great, and thought provoking. I LOVE the soundtrack, makes it feel like I'm interacting with an informative youtube video or a segment from a pbs show.
It's an interesting concept—I haven't seen anything like it before. It's pretty good.
