Cute Game! Love the art style and it's a fun idea!
I love the art and story, and it's clever how arousing suspicion limits you from buying too much! We started with a similar idea but it changed quite a lot!
Loved the gameplay but the punishment for buying to many things to quickly is quite harsh.
maybe an indicator on how much your suspicion will go up or if you will get caught from buying something could help? I'll try and do something if I update it after the game jam finishes, also thank you :D
