Mac has a protection on for unknown programs. I also got this pop up. You need to open Terminal (it's a program in the Utlities folder), then ignore the text on it, that's normal. Just immediately type in "xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine" (without the quotes), then space, then drag the application on Terminal so it will type in the file path for you. Then hit enter. It should allow the program to open.
