How does your game fit the theme?
Your body heat literally counts down over time, stray too far from a heat source and it drops to zero, killing you. The whole game is built around racing against that countdown: reaching the next fire before you freeze, using heat pads to buy extra time, and checkpointing your progress so a countdown-to-zero moment doesn't cost you the whole run.

I think this is a pretty unique idea. I havent seen that many games that use checkpoints in this game jam. I think overall, this is a great game, however, there’s a bug where sometimes when you’re walking, you’ll get stuck on the ground and you need to jump to get unstuck.
Hi, I'm sorry about that. I realised this towards the end of development. Since I'm still a beginner at game development, I didn't know how to continuously generate tiles to keep the ground seamless, so I ended up copying and pasting the tiles instead. I'll definitely work on improving that in future projects. Thanks for the feedback!

I really like the idea of the game. I did personally get stuck at one point after dying where i had no torches in sight and just couldn't make it to the next campfire in time. Other than than i dig the artwork a lot. Great work :)
