This game so far is the one that did the best job at a literal countdown, really stressed me out with the music and the money ticking down. Good job!

The cards were a little bit hard to read at times, definitely would prefer a cleaner font for the cards so you can tell them apart at a glance.

I found this more fun than I probably should have, I especially like the chip system. It's a shame Debt Daddy always managed to bankrupt me. 💸🦈
I do have two recommendations:
1. The text was a little hard to read at times as it's quite blurry. I even found it hard to know what cards I had sometimes (I think one was a 2, but it looked like a backwards 5 to me).
2. It would be cool if instead of an additional point each day, that you could spend excess money in the shop, or that you got more points based on how much you earn the previews day.
All in all though, I thought this was a good jam game. 👍
Thank you, I'm glad you had fun! The cards could definitely be clearer. You actually do get bonus shop points if you make more than the required money! Perhaps that could have been communicated better as well.

Animations were really nice, and the sound design was good. It's an interesting implementation of the theme "Countdown to broke". I don't entirely agree with the decision to make the calculator an item. Making it easier to tell what your current hand is allows for more quick-paced decision-making, which is good for a countdown-style game. I felt like you had an opportunity to force the player to balance their resources by using money as time, as well as your betting resource, but using chips reduced this aspect, making the timer just a timer. Your art style was very cohesive, and the writing was easy to read and understand and had personality.
Thank you for the feedback! I agree that betting with the money would be more interesting, but we found it hard to then balance starting money, as you need enough to have a bit of a cushion but not enough that someone could just go all in and win the level right away. Perhaps if we tinkered with that a bit more we could have found something, but chips was our way around that problem for now. I'm glad you liked the art, writing, and sound!
