I got to the end in just under 24 minutes. What a great concept, really cool, with so many new mechanics along the way. The levels were clever and you made soooo many of them :D

About gameplay feedback: restarting level is a bit clunky (since you have to go each time to the "guy" and change cards. I now that it's part of the narrative, but I'd rather it being a menu that I can open with an ESC or E or anything else really). Also - ladders were a bit annoying to use (as those are probably just multiple one way collision boxes :D)

But that's basically it, everything else I very much enjoyed.

Also-also, I like what you did with the theme of the jam. Many developers (including myself) went for a way looser interpretation, but it's very fitting here.

Congrats on beating the game!

I was never really happy with restarting the level, but it always was enough so I never really worked on it. I hadn't even thought about just letting the player access it from anywhere but that's a much better idea XD

Ladders were only meant to be for one level, but they became so useful that I started using them everywhere!

As for using the theme of the jam, I've done jams in the past where my interpretation of the theme was a bit loose, so I wanted to really try and make the theme a part of the gameplay for this one, and I'm glad to see people have picked up on that and enjoyed it.

Thank you for the feedback :D
