This is GenZ's Fruit Ninja, and I'm all up for it! Please release this as a mobile game. I loved the narrative onboarding, and the art is perfect for this game. gg

I purchased a Menu Music asset pack and used that for the music in my game. And I found SFX effects from the following free SFX packs:

This is a really polished game! I enjoyed having to balance between the different mechanics and found it really fun to play. The music and art is also really nice. One thing I would change is to have multiple ways to throw stuff as I'm playing on trackpad and it's hard to right click (This is just a personal nitpick). Regardless, this is a great game!
This game is really cute, the polish you were able to get is incredible!
Great and funny! Honestly I think this is better than most similar games. The right click dragging adds quite a bit to the gameplay instead of just monotonously clicking on the fruits. Played it for longer than I thought I would.
Nice artstyle, looks and clean and is clean to play. Although the monkey was a bit too talkative in my opinion :)
Simple premise but so fun. Works great because how ridiculously polished it is. Pomello is pretty charming too xP Only gripe is that collecting chests should probably not take the center stage and pause game play. I would have rather had it show up in the corner discreetly so the flow of the game is not interrupted. I also agree with the other comment that perhaps this doesn’t adhere too well to to theme. Regardless, it was quite fun and I enjoyed it.

Wow, very impressive. Fun, easy to understand, colorful, what's not to love? Amazing work, congrats!
wow, the polish on this game! Amazing job for such a short time. I like the art style and all the sound work. Maybe my memory fails, but I remember Fruit Ninja being more chill, and this feels way more stressful (in a good way). It keeps you on your toes, great job!
If you get some time, we'd love some feedback on our game too :)
The most polished game I have rated so far. Playing this on an ultrawide monitor defo presented a challenge! It is no secret that this is a fruit ninja clone, but darn good one at least! The character was funny and well designed, the pacing was great, and the mechanics solid. The music was a vibe! I played the windows version, and closing the game didn’t work when pressing the big red button :) Uhm, also… I didn’t really get that the timer was a timer more than just a health bar? Since you are constantly shooting at fruit and it dropping, the “timer” never really functions as a timer - which makes me wonder if the game succeeds in the game jam theme :)
I feel if I don't give this game a max rating Pomelo is going to take it very personally. Sooo no notes, fantastic little game.
Very fun! I love Pomelo's commentary and the meta jokes about the game jam. I got up to around 33 million and just decided to sit back and not click anything and it kept going on its own, Pomelo shooting and the full screen shoot powerup kept upping my time back to 20 seconds haha. I did run into a bug where I pressed Esc because I wanted to see if there was a spot to see how many stacks of the powerups I had. But that shrunk the game on the Itch page, and when I clicked back in, pressing Tab or Esc didn't close the pause menu. And when I clicked the red X it took me back to the main menu and I lost my run. But other than that I really enjoyed it!
Simple and really good. Very similar to Fruit Ninja but somehow actually feels a lot more fun to play, at least on pc! Also, Pomelo is like, the cutest thing ever! In the end there were just too much on screen at once, and it was hard to keep up. Chests flying everywhere and so many bombs that i had no way to have the time to click fruits, but that's just a balancing issue. overall i really enjoyed my time with it! I think my final score was 3,4 million :D
The visuals is really good! I like how the gameplay feels like fruit ninja, and the upgrades are a pretty cool addition to the game's variety.
Clean art, super fun gameplay, rogue-lite upgrades, and Pomelo! Very impressive for a 4 day game jam!
Great game but I think there are some improvements to be made:
I think that the Coconut minigame is fine, but it needs to appear less often, because it stops the flow of the game and since they appear so often I'm only actually shooting fruits for a couple seconds at a time.
I also think that the difficulty needs to ramp faster, because it felt like it was really difficult to lose.
I played until I got a 49 Million score and I thought the game was fun
