How does your game fit the theme?
The character's life consists of light. This light fades (the count decreases) as time passes, if the character is hit, or if they emit light to damage enemies. The goal is to reach the final door before the light goes out completely.

Best game I have played so far.
I love the platforming aspect most, the recharging is fun. I love to see others make pixel art games too!
The character glowing brighter after refilling at checkpoints is a really cool concept, nice use of the theme!
Thank u!!
The fading light combined with the platforming — that's a first for me in a game, and it's a ton of fun 😄
How did you guys make pixel art this detailed in just 4 days?? 👀
A couple of things I'd love to see:
Already rated it, by the way! if you've got a couple of minutes, we'd love a play in return:
cont.up — you're a tiny CRT television dodging falling digits on a phosphor-green screen. Plays in the browser, one run takes about 1.5 minutes. /jam/gmtk-jam-2026/rate/4827829
Hi, I’m glad you enjoyed! For the pixel art, I used assets for the map, main character and enemies, also for the background and buttons of the menu (you can find the great work in the credits up here!), I just put ‘em together.
Of course I will play it asap! Good luck for everything <3
One of the few games I managed to complete. I discovered that shooting enemies is literally "a waste of time" lol. I managed to zip by everything and get to the door quickly.
I hope you enjoyed, thanks for playing!
yay!! loved it^^ played twice to see both endings
glad you liked it!
very nice level design forcing you to have to be very fast lol, fun game
thank you very much! I'm happy you enjoyed!
