How does your game fit the theme?
The game fits the theme "Count Down" through its core gameplay loop. Each round is limited by a countdown timer, forcing players to make quick decisions between fighting, collecting resources, and upgrading their abilities. Players must balance their power and enemy difficulty while progressing toward the final boss challenge.

Fun core loop, it's a fun twist to have the run reset so quickly. It's cool how the player chooses their own adventure here.

There's an upgrade in the shop for different enemies and bosses, that's definitely an interesting exploration angle. If every run changes based on how the player has decided to customize it, like a mix of idle and hack-slash mechanics.

The art was amazing and I love the fact that the slash EFX looked quicker in accordance to its upgrade: and speaking of upgrades, good choice in having the player choose their own difficulty so they would not be bored so easily.

I was thinking of playing another submission, but my knuckles are sore from clicking 'J'. 😭

I really enjoyed it! I love the main character’s design and the art style. The upgrade system offered plenty of choices, although some upgrades felt a little too expensive to me.

Really enjoyed the gameplay cycle, I could see this being turned into an epic metroidvania, or have some story driven elements between waves.

This is the game I enjoyed playing most.
(probably because its my favorite genre but still ehem ehem) Genuinely so fun.

It's also polished really well. The little things like the slash color changing as it gets more powerful until it become a black purple scthe of doom is what really makes you feel incredibly powerful and the fact you can basically become immortal to those lowly filthy low level monsters with the dodge is so overpowered good.

Only thing I'd change is to be able to stop the attack mid way through and turn around since you have to do that a lot especially in the mid-late game and right now if you spam attack you cant turn easily you have to stop for a moment which was slightly annoying but its also a part of the combat so I'd add in the settings the option to turn it on and off or have it as a toggle.

Those were some nitpicks from yours truly but it is genuinely very impressive for a game butter jam!

(also noticed a small bug where the orange number was still  going up because of passive income in the shop, not the actual money just the number. Not that it bothered me just thought I'd let you know)

GOD DAMN that last boss was hard took me a few attempts (proof i actually beat it above)

I like the idea, but I would like to see little bit more from the game. Also resource over time are extreamly OP. Overall good job. :)

The gameplay is quite simple but challenging!, perhaps the movements and attacks are a bit delayed
