commentary super funny tho
The VO/story in this is incredible!! I also wish there were a mini-map but my biggest issue was getting rear-ended by a horse and then being stuck against a wall because the horse wouldn't stop ramming me. I had to restart so I do wish it'd try to go for the side or leave me alone after a while rather than completely ruining the run. Still, fun game!
Thank you for leaving feedback! :D The mini-map was one of the planned features that didn't make it in time, sadly. And we agree - these horses, despite being menaces, need to allow for a breather!
Love the intro! Main issue for me is not having a mini map which leads to going down dead ends. If you are being chased by cops this can screw you up without it ending the game. Good work!
Love the retro racing/GTA driving, but resolution is strange and the horses softlock you on walls so there is a bit of memorization to do. Good game.

Imagine having a work day and NOT planning around the Derby. Could never be me.
It's very clear how much effort and energy went into this game. Full voice acting, multiple enemy types, all the pop up ads giving us little insights into the lore of the world. Really great stuff! I'd love to see a full release one day with a full corpo city

The game didn't work on browser, but it did give me the opportunity to hear you have multiple intro's?? Then I downloaded it, and I got this weird glitch constantly, the menu bar in the screen. Still almost got to the end! If you can help me to fix this, I'll beat it for sure.
Now to the real questions, do you have a voice actor on the team? Is the voice AI? Cause the dialogue is great, the sound mastering is great to give that radio feeling, like the narrative in this game is so insanely good!
The driving is hard to master, but once you get the hang of it its a perfect drifting game! Like so polished and fun to play.
Hi! We've been sloppy on sorting out the UI scaling, and the GMTK version is basically only working on 1920x1080, so some browsers and other resolutions will have UI like on the screen! (If you can share what browser and screen size you have used, it would be great!) We already have a version that is windowed and works on all 16:9 displays, but we cannot update it here for a while.

We believed in our little driving mechanic, but we also see how much better it (and many other things!) could've been. There will be an update once the rating period ends!

The pop-up ads are hilarious. I liked the commentator, it adds a lot to the experience. My main issue is with the difficulty. It's hard enough to drive on a timer while distracted by ads and other cars crashing into you, but the horses on contact just stop your car and pin it against a wall forever. The track is also a bit difficult to follow as well, with all the turns and lack of clear direction. Difficulty aside it's a really fun game though, excellent work.
Thanks for the review! Depending on the RNG and the scenario, I realise the difficulty can be more frustrating than fun, and it's something I want to address in the future update! (The update in the works has made the map easier to navigate, the vehicle a bit better to handle in a wall-pin, and the camera is more zoomed out to allow for better navigation!) I loved the voice lines and the intro cutscenes! I really struggled with the controls though but that just might be a skill issue
