Thank you so much! I created those animalese sounds and our programmer Pat implemented them so smoothly

Thank you!

The countdown to the finale of the tryouts was definitely some narrative theming we threw in! But there’s also a micro countdown to hit each beat, as well as counting downbeats. We tried to approach the theme from a few different angles

Realizing in real time that I can't count is its own type of hell*

(*general afterlife)

Really creative types of passengers that keep you on your toes. I loved the dynamic between the player character and the boss

Imagine having a work day and NOT planning around the Derby. Could never be me.

It's very clear how much effort and energy went into this game. Full voice acting, multiple enemy types, all the pop up ads giving us little insights into the lore of the world. Really great stuff! I'd love to see a full release one day with a full corpo city

Finally...a game that hates me

I really really wanted to have some funky time signatures, but between the jam time length and not knowing how players might respond to odd meters, I decided to keep it all in 4/4. In a previous game of ours, Benedict Beaver the Builder, I had a 6/8 track and a 5/4 track! I'm glad you enjoyed it though! Maybe one day we'll add a 13/6 track to the game lol

Thank you! We definitely discussed varying mechanics, but we didn't have the time to create them as perfectly as we would've liked. That's the nature of jams though lol

Thank you so much!!!

Those rival spheres have nothing on my MINI CRIT! I had fun bouncing around the mazes here. As some others have pointed out, the music doesn't loop in the browser version, but that's not the end of the world for me

Fun, brain tickling puzzle! I like how it teaches the player as the levels progress. Good stuff

The multi-funcionality of the one button was used in a really clever way! The tension was high from the start. Unfortunately, I am very bad at this game lol. Love seeing some horror representation!

Santa's extended vacation to learn scuba diving has done irreparable harm to the production line

Thanks for playing!

Loved your reaction to this lmao. Glad my audio did it's job 😈

There is so much potential to expand this game! Really solid story foundation here! The music took me out of the horror of it a bit, but there are still great compositions here. Good stuff

the amount of times i said "bro stop running at me" might be a world record

That's such a compliment thank you! I was definitely going for something in that realm musically! If I had more time I think I could've done a better layered piano piece, but I'm happy with how it turned out

Thanks so much for playing this one too! We had a lot of fun last year with the narrative aspect of it all

So pretty, intuitive, and addicting! I could get lost in this game for hours!

Fun and smooth! I struggled a little with the memory aspect, but it did present a good and balanced challenge!

Looping loops around a loop! 🤯
So fun and quick with a lot of replay value

Fun and ominous puzzler with really great old-school visuals!

Really fun narrative! I love that there are multiple endings to this, it makes each choice feel meaningful

This is high praise from the programmer of one of my favorite games of the jam! Much appreciated 🙌

Whoa thank you so much for the detailed comment! I'm really glad that you got to dig in and enjoy every part of the game!
I'll pass on the mobile port notes to Patbug 🫡 (I am terrible at programming and coding lol)

Thank you!!! Glad you found us!

That's totally fair! In my  20 minutes or so, I got VERY picky about which upgrade I chose and started hoping for certain ones to pop up lol. Definitely a sign of a good challenge

As a musician, I'm so mad that I didn't think of a beat loop/DAW game! This is an absolute gem of a game! Really fun stuff

"I am become turret, destroyer of lil aliens"
Really fun gameplay loop, with a cool blend of visual aesthetics to give it its own unique feel. I can definitely see potential to grow this into a bigger game with different tracks, enemies, turrets, etc. My only hangup is that, amongst all the glorious chaos, I couldn't tell when and why enemies were getting through. I saw the HP go down but I was ZOOMING around lol. Overall, though, really fun game and I hope you get to expand it further! I'd definitely play on mobile or Switch

I got emotional almost immediately as I started playing, yet I couldn't stop. Great work here!

Shout out to Looped Tapes for having one of the most intriguing narratives in a jam game that I’ve ever played

I love love love the full narrative approach to this! I would really love to find out more about this world and this shady organization!

Really cool idea to have a a single player co-op! I sometimes struggled with guards being faster or slower on different levels, but overall this was a fun challenge!

VERY fun game for being an A/B choice system! I did get (probably) too emotional at the dog loop 😩

Fun platformer with an interesting story delivered in like 3 or 4 images. The attention to detail in story and the nuance of the title are really spectacular! Personally, I'm not all that great at quick platformers so I got stuck in SO many loops lol. Overall a fun, cute time!

Thank you! I wanted to really make the music and SFX all sound like part of the same piece and I'm glad someone noticed!

That was fun (and frustrating) as hell! Great work!

Whoa this is a really awesome take on the theme! The music and movement sit RIGHT in that sweet spot where I could play this for a good few hours. Add some lore and some more puzzles or mechanics and I would pay real money for this one

You're tellin me they got a NEU bauhaus?!

Fun, addicting, and incredibly bleak (positive). Well done!

Ahhhhh!!! Thank you!! Glad someone noticed the funky time signature in there! It's my favorite track in the game, probably followed by the 6/8 groove in level 3 (Ricky Raccoon)

Your tree is a friend, no matter how they look! We CAN offer the tree a house, although it might end up like Gillean Goldfish (bad times)
