A visual novel for a game jam is a big risk, as many people won't take the time to play it wanting to play as much as possible. That being said, this is a very well done and well polished VN.

One first little statement of feedback would be that sometimes it feels a little jarring to have the actions like (shakes his head) in the middle of that character's text box. My first impression feeling is that it would feel better as part of the Narrator's textbox as a single sentence (Lucio shakes his head before speaking...)

I also really like the way you used different text colors to differentiate between speaking text and inner thought text, as well as having sort of insignificant or by-the-way characters being the same text color as the narrator.

Lucio's character is very unsettling, just because people who think along how he does (especially early on) actually exist. Not necessarily to the point of kidnapping their friends, but .. the other things he says, for sure. Early on, though, something also feels off about Jeremiah, so I was very interested to continue the story. I'd love a third ending someday!
