Cool idea. I just block them off and wait for the overflow
Cool concept. I appreciate that the game isn't finished but if you had more time an interactive tutorial at the start could be nice. Although even without one I picked up what I had to do super quickly.
A few ideas if you were to continue the game:
- Once a ball gets into the basket it'd be good if you could despawn it. I frequently failed after getting lots of balls into the basket as the basket started overflowing and balls spilled out
- Another idea would be to have something that you can place that gives the ball a speed boost.
- And finally if you were wanting to take this in a puzzle direction, you could limit how many of each item you can place per level, this would allow you to challenge players by giving them limited resources to work with and seeing if they can come up with a solution using only the tools they have been given
Overall, pretty fun concept, Good work!
Idk why the first suggestion didn't cross my mind at all. It's actually very practical I'll make sure to add it :) The speed boost idea is cool, I can already picture it as a placeable fan or pad, could open up some fun chain reactions with other mechanics. As for the third suggestion that was actually the original plan but we had to code anything in the final two hours and that's what was faster
Thanks so much for the detailed feedback and for playinggg! :3 Love your game btw :D
I agree with the other comment, I had a very hard time getting the balls into the first basket. However, the second one felt much easier! Maybe the two should be flipped. I was confused at the last one when there wasn't a basket, but i think it's such an interesting idea to have the goal to be instead to keep as many balls on screen as possible! And I somehow managed to do it! Overall, had a really great time with this game. It was so fun seeing how the different objects interacted with the balls.
Yeah I agree, I will spend more time playtesting to see what's suitable for each level. Thanks for the feedback <3
Cool Game! I feel like getting 25 balls into the first basket for the first level is a bit much, but still overall fun to tinker with ideas
The basket is more of a suggestion at this point in the game but I will keep that in mind when I shift the main goal to actually delivering them to the basket. Thanks for playing !
