How does your game fit the theme?
Time constantly counts down on top of the screen, but you have to use time as a resource. It's a balancing game, in a tower defense format.

Very cool game the art is so good. If you have a second, I’d super appreciate a rating back on my game The Last Light
the voice acting was so dramatic at the beginning it cracked me up haha!
i do wish this game was easier at the beginning though, i feel like i had a hard time getting past the first two waves? that might just be because im not the best at these kinds of games
I love the art and gameplay! Its really amazing that this was made in just 4 days, including the intro cutscene!
It could be a bit easier and let you get a foothold down first though. Maybe you could start off with a few more buildings for free.
Great potential, spent a good time trying to just hold on, nice one.
the enemies piled up really quickly, but i found that with a good enough foundation it was easy to keep going and spam towers for a while. the cutscene & the sound effects of the enemies were very fun
Solid game, managed to reach the end game with a full screen of towers. My thoughts:
* The art is really well done. The only nitpick is that the variable outline thickness feels a bit weird.
* The idea of time as a resource here is interesting in theory, but in playing it feels more just like any other currency, because once you produce more fuel than you spend, it is impossible to run out of time.
* The walls are really hard to use because the enemies are so fast and can attack through the walls if the tower is close enough.
* I wouldn't say the balancing of the enemies is terrible like the other guy, but I do think it could use some work. Particularly because in a jam game it's important that the game isn't not too hard to see all the content your game has to offer.
This game is so pretty and such a clever take on the theme, and we really want to like it, but the balancing of the enemies is terrible. It just feels like I'm barely keeping my head above water the entire time I'm playing, and just can't manage to build up an actual defense. Truly so much potential though.
Very cool idea. Loved the cutscene at the beginning haha
very cool, i'm really bad at this but it;s fun and the art is great
This was a really cool concept! I really struggled to get things off the ground though. Those towers do not make much fuel!! I also loved the art in the intro cinematic -- really beautiful and great color scheme.
I love the art! The little animations are great
It's already been said but time as a currency is a cool concept I haven't seen before. Love that you were able to include narrative AND voice acting, and the art was done quite well. I would love to see more variety in tower and enemy types if you were to take this further.
A jam submission with narrative?? Lovely setup on the intro. Huge fan of the mechanic of time as a currency (and I already love tower defense games, so this was a win win win for me). Super solid submission!
The fuel must flow...
Oh my god...
I really liked using time as a resource, this was such a cool concept. I'd love to see if there's anything that changes if you manage to get your time above a certain threshold. I think this game would be an awesome idea to continue working on after the jam :)
