nice game, although a bit confusing at first! and the guy with a gun was a jumpscare lol

funny game title

quite hard to beat, but the art is really neat :]

iag

button jumpscare

graphic design is my passion

cool idea, cute main character :)

fun game! the boss fight was a bit finnicky, as even if i clicked i'd take damage, but other than that very nice :)

funny way to follow the theme! i had some trouble figuring out what to do at some points though :(

neat game!

really good for your first game! i love the movement mechanics, though they were a bit hard to control at times!

nice game, sound effects are fun haha

this game is so fun, i really like it! and the cover art is hella funny, 5 stars

interesting game! though i found looking through every single .txt file to be slightly tedious? this may just be because i'm not super into story games though!

cool game :D

love the art and music so muchhh, the bright colors just scratch my brain!! gameplay was a bit hard to get at first but it was fun :)

the voice acting was so dramatic at the beginning it cracked me up haha!

i do wish this game was easier at the beginning though, i feel like i had a hard time getting past the first two waves? that might just be because im not the best at these kinds of games

controls are slightly hard to remember, and i do think the player could be put under more stress? but i love the music especially the main menu its so groovy!

love the graphics and music on this !! also minesweeper is my favorite game so this was perfect for me >:)

the art is soo cute and i love how you incorporated the theme!! you should totally finish this :) i feel like something can be said about a countdown towards the end of your childhood as well

this is cool, i enjoyed the cutscene at the beginning a lot! i also like the aspect of choosing the order of your boosts :))

interesting take on the concept! i did get stuck a few times and have to restart the game though :(

game wow 10/10

the art and music are awesome, though i think the health wasn't reset between levels, so many enemies kept one shotting me after i lost once?

cool game! took me a bit to understand what was going on, but other than that i enjoyed the visuals and such :)

this is hella cool and impressive for the time you had! always love a good card game <3

this is cool, i had a lot of fun playing! i really enjoyed how the fly sounds were incorporated into the music haha. as others have said the beginning of waves felt slow but that was my only note on it!

i really like this, i had a lot of fun playing

really fun to play! i think the theme was incorporated really well

THE ART IS SO GOOD!! i love the soft vibes for winter smm. i did have a hard time knowing if i was losing or not though, i wish there was always a way to see what my current stats were at all times :] otherwise feels really polished

man i really suck at this, but it was fun to play! i do wish the screen was bigger as that is the main point of the game

would be fun to see wips and stuff!! even after the jam is over

this is really impressive for the time you had! the combat feels very slow however, but it was fun to get a hang of it throughout!

dithering is my favorite effect. 5 stars

You're a real one, I just uploaded a web version instead to skip the hassle haha. Tysm!

The resolution makes the game unplayable, this may work better for people: https://marshmellmoo.itch.io/take-his-heart-vn
