Really great take on the theme! And such an interesting way to tell the story and do the multiple choices!! Stuff like me not listening to the mums story because I was too busy trying to get through the level then having to answer who I think was right in the story is such a great way to make me feel like the kid in the story, because I had no idea and just guessed! Loved it.
I really liked how the game made me split my attention between the controls and the dialogue. It made the story feel even more personal and a little chaotic in a fun way. The visuals and execution were great too!
This is such a brilliant way to tell a story.
I love how this game is constantly playing around with my attention. I was originally going to complain about the weird keybindings (having W be jump, mainly), but I think they actually led to a better experience, since it was even harder to pay attention to the dialogue while struggling to figure out which buttons to press. I also thought it was really funny when I was asked to reply to Mom's story that I hadn't fully comprehended.
What a great twist! Really cool concept.
i did not go in expecting that much!!! its a really nice story the visuals are amazing and i really like the execution of it! great job!!!
