Had a great time with this ! I really liked figuring things out through the conversations. Cool concept, and it worked really well. Great job !!
Thank you so much, I'm glad you enjoyed the game!
solving a case over text is definetely a unique idea! I liked the messages would get from different suspects while talking to others, the game couldve used some sound, and maybe even make count backward a random character. but i really liked the idea nonetheless!
Thanks so much for the feedback! a random count each time would be a very cool twist! certainly something for me to think on for the future
Really cool game here, I liked the management of information being the centre of the gameplay here and the subtle nod to the game jam theme through the game's name, good job!
Thank you so much!
Cool game! You've managed to get a lot done! I like the message whodunnit style and I think with some audio / more time this game could be even better! Well done on your entry, I think you'd like our game this year too!
Thank you so much! and thanks for checking the game out :)
I love the concept of a quick detective mystery, but I was confused as to what I was actually looking for? The messaging happens so fast that, without spoiling anything, the message stating the ttraits of Count Backwards can get easily missed.
I think if this was to be expounded on, sending images to the player and the like would be a very neat way to expand on the world.
I definitely enjoyed playing it though. Good job!
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I had originally inteded for the game to include images (& audio) but I ran out of time to implement unfortunately, I'm very glad you enjoyed playing though!
This is really cool! Detective stories are usually stuck around the 1920s, but this one was an interesting blend of modern technology and ancient legend.
I really liked how you incorporated the timestamps into the mystery, I'd talk more about it, but I don't want to spoil anything lol.
I think it could be interesting if time progressed every time you sent a message, instead of in real time. That way, the amount of information you get depends on your ability to select the best questions instead of your reading speed. Also, I think the "dot dot dot" bubbles could add a lot to this, like you could see how long someone deliberates their answer.
This was really fun to solve, and I'm impressed with how developed the characters are and the volume of writing you made so quickly!
Thanks so much for your feedback! I’m really glad you had some fun with the game :)
