Thanks for the feedback! Yeah we have had a lot of comments about the difficulty, I think we made it too hard for a game jam. In an ideal world we'd make the game with more levels, and a slower difficulty arc.

Yeah for sure. Initially the game wasn't going to have mouse input and we kind of forgot to remove the arrow keys later on... It's still nice to have the choice.

Hahaha yep it can be tricky that's for sure - hopefully you still enjoyed it!

Thanks for the great feedback!

Cool game! I loved the gradient background and the animations / the character movement. Definitely a unique take on the platformer with the countdown. Well done! If you get time please check out the game we made, I think you would like it :)

Super cool game! The mechanics felt pretty good and they all felt good. A few pieces of feedback (I see that this is your first game jam). Firstly, I think you might need to add a dead zone for the camera, it feels super jolty when the camera follows the characters every move. Secondly, I think the hitboxes on the spikes / wheels might be a bit too tight, it made the game feel too difficult at times. Lastly, I think you needed more mechanics, or make them cost more coins, because I'd unlocked all the mechanics quickly but kind of lost the urge to keep exploring after that.
Overall, you did a great job, you should be proud with the mechanics, the artwork and the game as a whole, if it's your first jam, you've done an excellent job! I'd be happy to answer any extra questions! Feel free to check out our entry, I think you'll like it :)

Super cool, it was super frustrating on a trackpad but overall awesome game, great visuals, cool premise and well executed!

Cool game! Very well done from a SFX / artwork perspective. I think you could have tied it to the theme a bit stronger but it was definitely a super fun horror game!

Wow that's such nice feedback, thanks so much! We're really glad you liked it. I'm looking forward to trying your game too!

Thanks so much for your feedback! Yep I agree, next year we're going to dial down the difficulty but we found when it was too easy it was boring! I'm keen to give your game a try as well :)

This was a super cool game. Great polish on the UI and artwork. I think a bit more time would've helped to fully flesh out the details but overall really cool concept, well done!

Haha yep it's definitely frustrating at times! Thanks for the feedback

Thanks so much! I would like to play your game but unfortunately I'm on a mac :(.

Haha thanks for your feedback, yeah we definitely didn't make it easy! Like I've mentioned to others I'd suggest playing around with the lane controls in the options menu, I found 'Lanes' to be the easiest - let me know how you go with that setting instead.

Cool game, very addictive, I get cookie clicker vibes from it!

Wow, that room got big quickly! It definitely got harder as the room became more full but I think I did pretty well. Overall a cool game, well done!

Awesome game! I loved the artwork and audio, really cool game! Well done :)

This was super cool - I found myself building rockets for over 45 minutes... I love the voice acting and the narrative, the art is great and the mechanics are fantastic. One of my favourite games of the jam so far, great work!

Cool game! I think the SFX might be a bit too much, I found them annoying after a while - but maybe that's just because I was terrible at the game haha. Overall cool idea, great job!

This is a fantastic entry! I love how you managed to make a cozy feeling game, whilst simultaneously hitting the theme on the head. A really well polished game, you should be very happy with how this one turned out

There's definitely a few options (for Unity). I think the most popular are PlayFab, UGS (Unity Game Service). I think this video is a good place to start. Having said that I haven't implemented a leaderboard before and I prefer Godot. If you need help implementing one after the jam let me know, I'd be happy to help :)

Thankyou so much! Yep we definitely tried to keep Bop It in mind when we were building all of the mechanics, I'm glade it came through. I'm excited to try out what you've made :)

Cool rhythm game! For anyone else here who likes rhythm games, the game my team built is very similar but has more focus on rhythm based timing with different mechanics. Overall a visually beautiful game with really great audio tracks too, well done!

Cool game! I like the music and the lighting especially. As some others have mentioned the sword attack could use some work but otherwise a really fun game! You should be happy with what you've made.

Cool game! You've managed to get a lot done! I like the message whodunnit style and I think with some audio / more time this game could be even better! Well done on your entry, I think you'd like our game this year too!

SUPER COOL! I liked how frustrating it was haha. I also kind of liked how it wasn't obvious when it would blow up! You should be happy with what you've built. I think you'd like our game too (rage inducing at times, also has a bomb).

I really liked this game - it was a lot of fun. I was kind of getting dumb ways to die vibes but with a countdown! Super cool game, the music and art is great as well, you should be super happy with what you've built. The only improvement I could suggest would be a leaderboard!

Super cool game! I imagine developing it would've been a nightmare at times. Reminds me of 2048 crossed with Bloxorz! Great Job :)

Cool game! Definitely a unique title, that's for sure! I really enjoyed the challenge, the only thing I found slightly frustrating initially was not being able to accurately kick a bomb in the direction I wanted. Very addictive, overall great job!

Hahaha you should've seen it during development - it was literally impossible, we had to tone down the difficulty multiple times. I think I would honestly do better if this was a controller game - I'm not great with KBM myself... I'm to check out what you've made!

Thanks for the feedback! Yep I play all the games of those who comment / rate ours :)

Wow thanks so much that's great feedback :)! I'm glad you liked customization - we spent a lot of time ensuring people could play the game the way that best suited them.

Awesome game, I felt like I was sweating during the final minute!

One of my favourite games I've played! It fits the theme perfectly and is super addictive! Well done on an awesome game.

Thanks for the feedback akiva!

Haha yep it's definitely tricky! I would suggest trying level 2, it's much easier. Also changing the note layout to lanes in settings has helped some other people. Thanks for the feedback!

Cool game! It reminded me of firewatch! I think this game fit last years theme (loop) more than this years theme (countdown) but I enjoyed the story, and solved the puzzles. I don't think you made it too difficult, but maybe 2 hints for everyone problem instead of 1, because if someone misunderstood a hint then they were in trouble after that.

Overall a cool narrative game, with some polish this would be a great little game!

Well done! A super cool game. Obviously I imagine the impacts of choices and the variety of outcomes would've taken up a lot of your time! The visuals were cool, it would've been nice to have a final cutscene at the end depending on the outcome of the crew

Hey no problem. I played on firefox so chromium based, and I did use a mouse.
