I’ve enjoyed this one, looks very polished and visually pleasing too. I love word games, but the countdown-themed twist in this one somehow didn’t speak to me. Still played to the end and found it satisfying. The host is delightful with those antics, really adds a lot of character. Well done!

Had to dig deep into 1337 speak knowledge I thought I'd lost, fun concept! I think it's a bit cheesy to not allow players to rethink choices by counting up again, though. I know it's because of the theme, but in a puzzle game, refining your choice while you're making it is an expected option.
Thanks for playing and for the feedback! I intended not being able to count back up as a core mechanic of the game, but that shouldn’t have meant you couldn’t rethink your choices. Thinking about it now, I could’ve at least added a reset button to let players edit their choices before completing the whole word, or come up with a different approach.

This is really fun take on the the theme and the host certainly keeps things interesting! Certainly had me mapping out all my 1337 letters and speak :)

This is definitely one of the best games I've played this jam, such a simple game concept yet very fun to play and figure out words.
On a side note I will find and kill the host.

Very crisp and polished game! Loved the comedy bits, and an interesting approach to the theme. Overall I enjoyed it, but it was beginning to get a little repetitive at the end. But I really enjoyed the vibes and the concept! Your hard work is noticeable :)

I am completely lost at the "cheat sheet" puzzle. Though I am awful at puzzles so it may just be a skill issue?

Really good but I’m kinda dumb and bad with words-
If I had to give a complaint, it’s probably that there are some cases (eg the second and first words) where there are multiple valid words, but they aren’t a valid option.
Overall though it’s a really good game. I don’t think I have much to say, it’s just… good. a really creative concept and take on the “counting down” theme, and a really interesting game concept in general.

I suppose allowing players to try different variations might have made the game more playable for everyone. Unfortunately, since it was my first time making a word game, everything turned into spaghetti code, and that feature likely wouldn’t have be done in time :D
