thanks for your lovely comments and feedback, we originally wanted to stick to the original space invaders and not vary too much and in most space invaders games the player does shoot very slow. In hindsight it would be a good addition to make the player shoot faster.
We plan to update the game with feedback from the jam so it’s all very appreciated!
