This is pretty much a finished game, impressive! Great job!

A big show requires good timing! As a lightman, you trust the director's countdown to guide you through the show.

peak cinima, your placing top 100 for sure, I love this game. but i did run into a bug were your hands glitch above the board then they dont go back. but other than that its awsome
Oh shit, that's some compliment! There are many great games in the jam, so we are not too confident, but are proud of what we've made!
For the glitch, i've had that happen too, but it only happens during the intro right? I think it's some button combination + movement that triggers it. Or have you had it happen midgame?
Thanks for playing anyways, glad you liked it!
interesting game! I managed to get to $1100-something.
I think it's a little unclear how the soundboard is meant to be used. They kept boo-ing me every time I played a sound and I'm not sure what I was doing wrong.
Hello! First of all thanks for beating our game, we hope you enjoyed!
You turn on the drumm roll the moment an artist stands still on the stage and shakes. Then , when they stop shaking, you press the cymbal to do a crash on the climax (like the skater kickflipping). Then the crowd goes wild! The magician (full body card person) makes something appear from under his hat. That's what the other 5 sounds are for, to match it with his magic trick for bonus points :)
Hope that makes it more clear, the timing can be tricky in the chaos of controlling your lights
It was very fun, my final score was 750-ish (can’t remember exactly). Had to switch to Chrome so I could play the game and struggled with the controls a bit since the numpad buttons didn’t affect the lights, but managed to get there in the end. I love that you had live-recorded music and voiceovers, the audio quality was top notch!
A lot of people struggle with the controls, but for us this felt like the best way to make you control multiple lights at once. Glad you pushed through and experienced the full game! And thanks for the compliments for the music, it was fun to bring my accordeon out after 5 years of it catching dust ;)
Thank you so much for playing!
The game was very unique and quite creative! I loved being able to work behind the scenes and control the lights, and upgrade in the shop after each show! Must say the artwork was incredible here! The only thing that bothered me is that they booed me when I added the meow effect >:C (jokes aside incredible game!! I LOVED IT!) Hard to find anything to critique!
Cutouts are great. Amazing voice acting :3 My mouse felt a bit floaty, but other than that, great game,
Couldn't get the game to work =(
I was stuck in the dark after the spoken intro. Holding 1 +LMB/RMB wasn't changing the lighting and there were no buttons to press... Can't see anyone else mentioning this so either I'm being an idiot or there's something wrong with my setup (web version, Firefox)
From what I saw of the intro it looked very polished though, haha!
Hello! It seems to be a firefox issue, we've had 2 more people saying the same thing! Weird thing is, our programmer works with firefox dev version, and that runs fine. If I remember correctly, it was something that firefox can struggle loading in the lights? You are controlling it perfectly, it is just not rendering in the lights sadly!
If you want, try on another browser! Anyway thanks for checking it out, hope you can experience the full game :)
Thanks for replying - I tried on Chrome and it worked!
It's such a creative game idea, both for it's gameplay and the whole cardboard design of all the characters - great job!
I wasn't entirely sure what counted as the "climax" of a performance for the confetti, but that's a small issue in an otherwise really cool game.
I love the game! Pretty unique concept too! Love the atmosphere! Nice job!
Really fun game! The art style is fantastic, I’m a huge fan of Paper Mario, and the cardboard/paper aesthetic works really well here. The sound design was also great and added a lot to the atmosphere
The game was definitely challenging for me (my hand-eye coordination is terrible haha), but I still had a lot of fun figuring things out. Once I upgraded the lamp posts and placed them well it became really satisfying to manage the whole scene
Overall it’s a really good and enjoyable game. The fast-moving guy near the end was a pain to keep track of tho haha!
Really well done project, I loved the art design and the music. The concept is also very intriguing, and I really enjoyed the execution.
Very unique idea! great work. Really great 3d art as well.
Very interesting game! It's stressful being a lightman lol. Great job!
I loved the concept! I was terrible at it 😅 but it was very unique! Great game!
Voice acting and audio were very good! Also very interesting concept!
The voice work and audio are top tier here! I do wish I were able to read along with the voice parts via captions or written dialogue, just to totally process the directions (that would also be a great accessibility thing to add in the future!). I found playing a little tricky at first; I had to get used to the sensitivity with mouse movement. Cool concept!
Nice game. Managed to finish the game with 591, not bad for a day's work
