How does your game fit the theme?
Debt Defender is an intense fast paced shooter game with gold coins that count down when enemies get to the treasure chest and also each bullet cost 1 gold coin. There is also a timer counting down and if it reaches 0:00 and there is still gold coins, you win. You also have lives that count down when hit by enemy

Good job, some wonky shooting going on there, and what did those ladybirds do to deserve getting rambo'd?
Really good job! Especially for a first jam.
I was initially a bit confused as to why the coins didnt give the gold based on the number shown. But I figured out its just related to how long they are on the map. But maybe it would be fun to give their value based on what it says, so the player is encouraged to try to pick them up quickly, forcing them to play a bit more risky.
