I managed to find all 4 energy cells and beat the game. My only feedback is the pinging noise of the cells sounded like it was in 2D space rather than 3D space. That confused me for a bit and I died my first try. Great work!
Really cool game some of the visuals/models were really impressive I would say for me the mouse sensitivity was quite low but other than that really enjoyable game I really cut it close to losing my first run but I made it in time. The voice acting was also very good especially for a jam game!
thank you so much for your input! <3
I liked the underwater setting, the vision of the huge mecha stranded on the sea floor, and there is always a clue as to where to go next. The story could be the plot of some badass anime :) The sound design is a little tedious between the voice that says pretty much the same line everytime you click on something, the short music loop and there the bipping sound of the power cells. Apart from that, great team work !
Really cool environment to explore, lots of detail. I did think I had to get a bit close to the pickups to activate them, and the bubble sound was a bit loud and made it hard to hear the beacon sound. I also died pretty suddenly on my last run and am not sure why - I think I turned into an alien but I had just picked up antidote. That said it's a really neat concept and the environment was large and fun to explore. Good job.
Thank you so much for playing our game! I went and made a couple of quality of life changes based on your feedback because I agree. The following will be updated after the voting period:
- Increased interact distance
- Lowered the underwater bubble sound
As for why you died suddenly, if it wasn't because you turned into an alien, it was very likely your oxygen gauge depletion creepin' up on you. It got us a few times during testing as well. Haha
This is a really strong entry! Great visuals with lots of cool touches like the bubble trail or the arrow guide for power cores, unique theme/narrative, neat environment to explore, and I liked the voiceover.
Thank you so much!
Aw thanks so much! I was super self conscious about adding my voice to the game but I'm really glad I did it!
