Not a story i was expecting to see in a jam ,really nice , and the audio was good for self made , GG
Wow. That was pretty intense.
Wow. That was pretty intense.
I liked all those little narrative details about what was meaningful objects and memories for a kid.
When enabling full screen mode UI text becomes extremely small.
really liked the story and the soundtrack of this game. ik this was a heartfelt story driven game and some aspects can improve such as the camera(the camera is my biggest concern because it is kinda wonky) and at the end there should be an option for if your ready to end the game after collecting all the memories because the timer was abit too long with the little amount of items it had. overall it was such an amazing game that has potential to be a better narrative driven story and I hope you get better in designing game. have a nice day
Mm, I agree! I spent a lot of time trying to fix the camera but gave up and went to work on other aspects. It's a bit regrettable. About the option to end the game early, there is one... but maybe the UI for it was too small and is thus easily missed? There's a 'let go?' prompt where pressing 'f' skips the count down and gives a different ending. Thanks for playing! 𐔌՞ ܸ.ˬ.ܸ՞𐦯
A very well done story. While I liked the style of the UI, but parts of it were too small in my opinion. Overall this is very good, great job!
Oh, yeah... Post-jam, I think I'll check out other games to see the proportions for a better layout. Thanks, Toaster! ^-^
This game was crushing, very beautifully made and written. I wish it was just a tiny bit longer and a few more things to do (n-no I am not sad that I can't spend more time with the game)
For critique, the models were a tad bit hard to differentiate between one another and I wish the UI was a bit more prominent when you can interact with stuff, for me it was mostly spamming the interact button for me until something popped up. Some models also did not feel cohesive to the other objects (mainly the player character) but the writing more than made up for it. The UI was also very well designed
Despite that though, you know your way with words, the game was very beautiful
Thank you for the kind words! And for giving such thorough constructive criticism. Since I started learning HTML5 3 months ago, I've been mostly free styling these creative projects, so UI is definitely my biggest issue. Adyna having hundreds of more polygons was in fact because I restyled a pre-made model, so it doesn't really flow well. I'll definitely work on these in the future! >:3
This got me close to tears. Very beautifully done! (I may be slightly biased because our game went in a slightly similar direction lol)
Thanks so much! I love your game, and how you both managed to flesh out the characters with the little time they had! :3
Absolute cinema, warms the cockles of my heart. Quite a lot of polygons tho. 9.95/10 (be better)
Haha, yeah. I'll be better and optimise the polygons post-jam.
Loved the whole thing. Very fitting music and a little teary eyed while typing this. However I did find it hard to tell if the interact prompt was about what I just interacted with or something new.
Ah, I see! Post-jam, I think I'll add on some spacing between the objects and make the lights for each object shine a bit brigher. Thanks for the feedback and glad that you enjoyed it! :3
A very melancholy game, quite impressed by the narrative of the game. Liked that the end allowed some time to check the list & read all the examined objects you saw throughout the game. Gave a better overall picture of the sad story.
That's great!! Good that the mechanics were helpful to the interactiveness of the fiction. >:D
Beautiful writing and 2D style. Sad in a beautiful way
Wowie, thanks. That's the atmosphere I wanted the game to have.
I am very impressed by the whole narrative and creativity upon the theme. Nice visuals as well.
Thanks, Peanut. I tried your game and it's really fun! 0-0
